“We bought 2kg Mozzarella thee between Christmas and New Year 2015, because of the excellent reputation and recommendation from friends. However we received soft and salty (old mozzarellas) This was very disappointing and my friends were shocked who tasted them on the same day 2 hours later stated - "these were perhaps only good for cooking"! Never again - and I guess they just lost a couple of customers even if they do not care as it is so popular that you have to pull a number before you get to buy their stuff. Next da I bought the mozzarella 200 m further down the road after the roundabout and these were simply fantastic and fresh! Ponte a Mare's success story led to the classic loss of quality problem and lack of customer appreciation - this is my personal impression.”
