Pinolo Gelato
4.8
( 8 reviews )

3707 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97202, United States

“I always love coming here to check out their newest additions and seasonal flavors! The gelato is delicious, and they let you try them ALL with no complaints! The staff is super knowledgeable about all the options and are super friendly. They also have an espresso machine to serve a couple different coffee options and of course one of those is an Affogato! We ordered americanos because we had some cookies from a local bakery that we were going to enjoy with the gelato (yes, I know, sugar upon sugar…that’s how I roll). The coffee was not the best, but we expected that since it’s a gelato shop, not a coffee shop. I think their machine could use a hood servicing/cleaning as the coffee tasted pretty burnt and bitter. The dining area could really use some love. The furniture isn’t comfortable and definitely not enough seating for when it is busy so don’t be surprised if you have to take your gelato to go. But outside of the interior aesthetics lacking and the coffee not being amazing, this place is a must go!”

An Xuyen Bakery
4.7
( 16 reviews )

5345 SE Foster Rd, Portland, OR 97206, United States

“I was exicted to try this place out. It had all the signs of a “hole-in-the-wall with great food”…(Small place, kind of run down, “cash preferred” sign at the register & the place was busy)…I had high hopes of discovering a delicious banh mi…Sadly, that was not the case -#13 Grilled pork w/lemongrass banh mi. Looked great with fresh made baguette. Bread was average & overall oddly flavlorless sandwich…even the pickled vegies = 5.4/10 -Steamed meatball bun (pass) = 4.8/10 -Iced Viet Coffee (average at best)= 6.1/10 I haven’t given up on this place yet, and will come back to try some of the baked goods…they have a ton of options! 🤞those are better than the above items…”

“I was in town for the day, killing time before catching my flight home, and Double Dragon was recommended to me. But more specifically, their Bahn Mi. Me oh my what a delicious sandwich it was. That pork belly was ridiculously scrumptious, and my belly was thoroughly satisfied.”

East Glisan Pizza Lounge

8001 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97213, United States

“So this pizza spot is obviously highly ranked already before I even put my 5-star rating in and I'll explain why. This new york-style pizza also does Detroit deep-dish but we didn't do the deep dish this time, we'll hit that up next round. So the environment is very lounge-type it has a couch corner space for drinking night caps with a good friend or potential new girlfriend or boyfriend. We ate in the back corner was a little dim but once your eyes adjust it really seemed to be fine. Wait staff was really nice and patient and was good about making sure drinks were refilled or we had second round if we wanted it. We did stop in after 9 so we tried some of their happy hour food and drinks. I didn't take a picture of it but I did have the garlic bread bites highly highly recommend they were delicious. One of the main reasons I would definitely be on board with the eating leaves again is ordering the garlic aioli as a dipping sauce. Now onto the main Pizza I always order a pepperoni with extra cheese and sausage if able to. I usually do this for the same reason as I get a nice bass of what type of pizza this restaurant will make. The pizza came out very flimsy in a traditional New York style pizzas which I'm on board with! The pizza was pepperoni sausage extra cheese and had fresh mozzarella. The sauce was light not heavy and not super zesty. The pepperonis were crunchy but not very fatty that you would normally get when you have a pepperoni pizza and the oil drips off your hand and all over. This pizza was not very oily and did not do that. So in closing check this pizza place out it's phenomenal I'll be coming back ready to try the Detroit style pizza. And bring my family along! Also we tried a dessert and we would definitely recommend it it leans a little bit on the citrus side which I do appreciate!”

“My dining experience at Le Pigeon in Portland was truly exceptional. I had a reservation for dinner and opted for the tasting menu, which turned out to be an amazing choice. If you're visiting Portland, I highly recommend this experience. The atmosphere at Le Pigeon was fantastic, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The food was nothing short of great, and each dish presented as part of the tasting menu was a culinary delight. What added to the experience was the wonderful service provided by our waitress. She took the time to explain each dish, enhancing our appreciation of the flavors and ingredients. Overall, dining at Le Pigeon was an outstanding experience, and it's a must-visit when you're in Portland.”

Serratto Restaurant And Bar
4.6
( 8 reviews )

2112 NW Kearney St, Portland, OR 97210, United States

“This is the kind of place you can bring anyone to for an enjoyable meal. The interior is very nice while the vibe still feels welcoming and casual. The food is made with a lot of care, without being pretentious. The service was very friendly and attentive—when a dish was eaten, the plate would be cleared almost immediately. It’s a great place for a date night or for a group or family outing. As far as food, everything we had was good. We were impressed by how perfect the Belgian-style fries were. The garlic bread is a must, my husband loved the rigatoni (and he has high standards for pasta and Italian sausage), the steak was perfectly cooked and was accompanied by an elegantly prepared root vegetable gratin, and the roast chicken was juicy and flavorful. I was craving French onion soup, which was tasty — though my preference would have been to use baguette for the crouton, give it more cheese and broil longer so it could have more of a crust. But that is all personal preference—it was still delicious and I enjoyed eating it. We were too stuffed to try dessert but will definitely be back.”

Urdaneta
4.8
( 8 reviews ) $$

3033 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR 97211, United States

“I discovered Urdaneta years ago during Portland Dining Month and it is still, in my opinion, the best restaurant in town. The food is inspired, every time I go there's a new twist on a familiar dish. The flavors are out of this world and service is impeccable. It's like dining at a friend's house, one who is also an incredible artist in the kitchen. This is where I bring visiting friends and family when I want to showcase Portland's food scene. Just make sure to make a reservation, the place is popular and very small.”

I am so thankful that I got the chance to enjoy them so many times before they decided to embark on this wonderful journey to Japan and I wish them nothing but the best! ❤️”

Providore Fine Foods

2340 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97232, United States

“Excellent produce, and the dry goods shelves/meat & cheese counters have endless treasures. I can't resist the Napoleons and the lasagna in the deli case. Arrosto inside does an amazing roast chicken dinner with salad, potatoes and heavenly foccacia that is a good value. Love having this spot with walking distance!”
