“Ah, the famed Jenny's Shrimp Truck. Though every plate had the freshest tasting shrimp that's naturally sweet and has that perfect snap to the bite, it's in the seasoning where they fell a bit short. The Original Shrimp plate is rather plain, and tastes like simple boiled shrimp. Comes with cocktail sauce. The Butter Garlic Shrimp is a step up from that, though the plate we got was on the saltier side. Spicy Garlic Shrimp was yet another step up, and I would not mind coming back for the spicy variant (though later experiences would prove even this inferior to the real shrimp champions on the island). That's not to say you won't have a good meal with Jenny's! Don't let our picky palate deter you. Jenny's Shrimp is a good bet for a great meal.”

“Absolutely the best meals I have ever had in my life. My family and I came here the second to last night of our vacation and ended up coming back on our last night as well because we loved it so much. If you are looking for pad Thai and green curry then this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re willing to expand your horizons a bit and let Opal order for you, you will not be disappointed! I honestly don’t know exactly what I ate, all I know is that it was delicious and I wanted more! Everything tasted familiar but different at the same time. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant!”
2908 E Manoa Rd, Honolulu, HI 96822, United States
“This is a local food restaurant. It is only available for takeout, but the taste and quantity are very satisfying. If you want to eat poke on Oahu, I highly recommend this place. There is no parking lot, but there is a shopping mall in front, so it is convenient to park. Even if there are many waiting customers, they are all for takeout, so they will be gone soon, so you don't have to wait long.”

“Small place with big food and big heart. Staff and customer were friendly, thanks for buying our soft shell crab sandwich, delicious! Best Loco Moco on trip.”
355 Royal Hawaiian Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States
“It was the most delicious food I had in Hawaii. The savory texture of the cheese was vivid, and the spicy sauce cut through the greasiness. It was so delicious that I visited again. I will definitely stop by next time I go to Hawaii. It seems to be a really good restaurant that doesn't advertise much.”
95-1057 ʻĀinamakua Dr, Mililani, HI 96789, United States
“This establishment has been operating for the past 10 years. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Their homemade Cinnamon Rolls are one of my favorite treats, along with other delicious desserts. The food has the right amount of flavor to be enjoyed.”
70 Kukui St, Wahiawa, HI 96786, United States
“Great Saimin with homemade noodles. Ordered with bbq stick. Excellent and prompt service. There was a line outside. Wait was short. Very busy lot of take outs and this was around 2pm on a Tuesday.”
2525 S King St, Honolulu, HI 96826, United States
“A great market with, proportionately, a large selection of fresh produce (locally grown when available!) and also a wide assortment of packaged goods, snacks, beverages, bulk ingredients, and also a large beauty / wellness section. Friendly and helpful staff. Some parking available off-street in the little parking garage.”
2250 Kalakaua Avenue by, Royal Hawaiian Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States
“The best poke bowl in Honolulu. The sashimi are fresh and japanese rice cooked to perfection. The quantity of sashimi per box is just the right amount to enjoy every bite with the hot rice. Their spicy poke is seasoned well. Each taste is clean to enjoy the freshness and quality of fish.”
267 Mokauea St, Honolulu, HI 96819, United States
“By far the best poke on the island. Everything is made perfect and so fresh. I love every single one of their options. Ahi, tako, anything. A must have is the slush with scoop of ice cream. I always get passionfruit but there's 3 other flavors that I don't know about because I can't get over how good the passionfruit slushie is. The one thing that is the only detraction is the rice can sometimes be a little dry. Maybe I come too late sometimes.”
