“Fancy a little of Fitzroy in Bayswater? This is a very cool, trendy restaurant at Hawker Kitchen prices. Firstly, the service, friendly, warm and professional. The atmosphere is super Fitzroy vibe with a cage door entrance as you enter front of house which has exposed brick work and splashes of colour and a industrial feel. Back of house has private booths,hanging lanterns and a real feel of being in a Asian street market serving street food. The food, fresh, real, on song with amazing flavours aromas and just yum and well priced. Must try is the Salted Egg Chicken Ribs as well as the Beef Rendang (it's gluten free as well) There are plenty of other dishes that caught our eye but we will try those next time we visit. This is certainly is a stand out place, worth the visit and worth trying. Best of all, well priced.”

“The service was nice and quick, very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice too , unfortunately the 2 items I ordered were nothing to write home about. They were not bad by any means but were just mediocre. The hot chocolate had very little flavour, very bland, for the chilli eggs I reckon mixing the chili in the egg rather than placing it on top might be a better option.”

“Good value for money. Braised Pork belly with preserved veggie is a must and you can’t go wrong with any deep fried dishes. I only hope they would lightly deep dried the eggplants rather then stir fried it directly from the start. Also, the sweet and sour pork’s was lukewarm.”

“We have been here a few times during busy and quieter times and have found it average. There are some great reviews here which is why we have given it a few tries. We order the same thing at every F&C shop, flake, chips and potato cakes. Unfortunately we found the flake dry and bland. The batter is thicker than we prefer and on the chewier side than crispy. The chips were also on the dry side. I am usually one to devour chips that are soft on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside so I hated seeing most of the chips going to waste. I also found myself peeling off the batter on the potato cake as it was quite thick and heavy. Just under $50 for the family pack and we could only get through half, we really did try to enjoy it but it missed the mark. Perhaps will give the burgers a go next time. On the positive side their service has been friendly despite busy periods and the store does have some seating.”

“When we moved into the area 6 years ago we were told how great this place was and we were very happy with the food. However over the last 12mths we have had orders wrong, a server who felt like she didn’t want to serve us and tonight the chips, chicken schnitzel on the burgers and chicken nuggets were dark and horrible, like they had been cooked in old oil. Usually the chips are amazing with their chicken salt, but tonight they had hardly any salt and were just ordinary. This is the last time we will buy from here because for $65 for 3 burgers, chips and nuggets it’s just not worth it. You need to step back up and be great again. Very disappointing.”

“I came into Lipari pizza because I heard that they had really good pizza. Walked in and was absolutely appalled by the way that what I believed to be the manager was treating a young dark haired female employee. While she was cutting the pizzas, the man seemed incredibly rude and controlling by bossing her around. I could see that she was distressed because of this man. Poor girl. This place appeared to have terrible management so I left. I was not going to be wasting my money there.”
