“This place is a nice little gem. Haven't had pizza and wings in awhile so we were excited. The wings were really good! Large with alot of meat, breaded and covered in sauce....perfect. We got a cheese and pepperoni Pizza. Bith were good but we all said the pepperoni had more flavor. Crust was crispy and the undercarriage was very nice. Next time I'll have to try some onion rings.”

“Bella Donna Subs is a hidden gem in a large industrial area with amazing food and super fast service. Having tried several items from their menu like the #14 Yenta Pastrami, or their Mediterranean Cheese Steak Sub, Meatball Sub, and Chicago Style Italian Beef, the food is hot, delicious, and very different from your standard fare. They offer a few Jewish foodstuffs of interest as well, you can't go wrong with eating at Bella Donna. The pricing is perfect for what you get, and they offer fountain drinks of standard soda choices, as well as brewed sweet / unsweet tea. Enjoy your cookie!”

“Although the restaurant seemed understaffed, they did a good job. The Tom Yum soup was packed with flavor and full with ingredients. The Pad Thai was perfect. The fried dumplings were severely lacking and not worthy. Fried Spring Rolls were ok…missing something though. Seating is awkward and uncomfortable, but overall a good place for Thai food in Lexington, KY.”

“This place looks like a hole-in-the wall--totally unassuming. BUT it epitomizes taqueria cuisine. I used to eat here all the time when I lived here and always loved the food. The Navy transferred me away in 2006 and I didn't have the opportunity to return until today. It's exactly the same. The neighborhood has gentrified and construction is happening all around, but Benny's is an anchor that holds Golden Hills to its roots. Sorry it took me so long to return, I'll try not to wait 17 years for my next visit.”

“Veggie udon was a delicious and hearty way to warm me up on this cold winter day. Noodles had perfect al dente resistance, vegetarian curry was mildly spicy (as ordered), had a lightly creamy texture (starchy, not dairy) and the tofu was fresh and silky instead of fried (my preference). I only needed half the curry on the noodles so will save rest for home use. Notes: Takeout only but open til 7pm Yellow curry will stain so use your napkins strategically! To the Veggie Freaks like me: I would like if there were more veggies but that’s how I feel about most dishes like this anywhere. If I take home, I typically supplement with my own veggies.”

“They can make 50,000 cookies in a day. Now that makes us happy! Wanna go back to 1938? Head over to Dad's Cookies in Dutchtown. Dad's Original Scotch Oatmeal Cookies, originating from Scotland in 1900, came to California. Dad's Cookie Company soon embraced franchising, becoming a pioneer in the industry by 1927. During a visit to St. Louis in the same year, a salesman introduced Carpenter's Ice Cream in St. Louis to the flavor of the Scotch Oatmeal Cookie, leading to Mr. Carpenter obtaining the St. Louis franchise. In 1938, St. Louis baker Henry Renz Sr. acquired Dad's Cookie Company from Carpenter's Ice Cream. The Renz bakery on Louisiana Avenue and Keokuk Street became the new home of Dad's Cookie Company. Henry "Hank" Renz Jr. took the reins in 1949. In 1988, the Hastey brothers, another generation of the Renz family, inherited Dad's Cookie Company. Even now, the company offers fantastic cookies in their nostalgic 1930s spot. It's where all the magic happens. The coconut cookie was my favorite!”

While the street tacos were very good, I was disappointed that they didn't come with cheese, tomatoes, or sour cream! The cheese was $3 extra & I just felt like $18 plus tax for three tacos was a bit pricey! I'd be willing to go back & try their shrimp fajitas because they looked like they would be delicious! The fajitas seemed like they would be a better deal for $20 for two people.”

“One of my favorite if not my favorite pizza place in Seattle - especially for the deep dish pizza options and the atmosphere. We like going here on Sundays when the Ballard farmers market is going on, sit by the windows and people watch the market and then get a deep dish pizza - it’s so good! We always go when there aren’t too many people, so a little before lunch or right when they open. We’ve always had great and timely service when we go, and we always have left overs for later!”
