“Perfect! The atmosphere was so inviting with the fireplace and style of the space. Delicious Romagnolo food made with fresh local produce. We recommend the Piadina with parma ham, Squacquerone cheese and caramelised figs. A great selection of local craft beers and international favourites. Best of all, these guys really care about the service and experience they provide. Manuel was so friendly, fun and kind, like an old friend. Get there early if you want a seat. Thanks so much guys. “We are staying in Bologna for a month. Tried a lot of spots. This place just nails it for authenticity. Great selection of wines. Some great beers. It’s a little off the main tourist trail which is excellent. Great platters and sandwiches. Staff are helpful and friendly.”

“Il Rovescio was a highlight of our visit to Bologna! I went with my mother and we had such a lovely experience. The service is excellent, warm, and friendly. We didn’t have reservations and were seated in a cosy annexe. The atmosphere was so nice: people at different tables talking to each other, a very sweet and friendly dog sitting next to us. Finding vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants in the meat-focused foodie city of Bologna is challenging so we really appreciated the wide selection of seasonal veggie options. The dishes we tried were fresh and flavourful. We had such a nice experience here! ❤️”

The sushi was nice but not great, the fish was fresh and tasty, but i wasn't a huge fan of the rice, fried dishes were cold, and the most disappointing thing was the super slow service, we had to wait a lot to get our order taken and then wait a lot more for our dishes!”
