“We went there for my birthday lunch based on a recommendation. Drove up beautiful Highway 1. The place was easy to find. It is in an old train cart. It is small with few spots inside and a lot of outdoor tables. We ordered everything on the menu (limited menu). The food came out fast! It was all fresh tasting and amazing. We split the sandwiches, and they were both good, and we shared the rest of it. It was so good; we took the leftovers home. I will stop there again.”

“They said we must try the Cronuts, so we did! What a wonderful experience. The cronuts were amazing, the service was exceptional, and the restaurant wasn’t far from the San Mateo bridge. They offer Vegan and Gluten Friendly options, Sandwiches, Bagels, Coffee and more. We’ll definitely stop in again during our next visit to California.”

“This place is dog friendly. I went with a friend who is a dog owner, and we were able to sit in the patio area with their dog. I ordered the impossible burger with garlic fries, and my friend ordered the fish burger with a side salad (pics included). My burger was juicy, and they accommodated my request to have my onions grilled. The garlic fries were okay, I do wish the fries were a bit thicker and that the garlic flavor was a dipping sauce. My friend's fish did have a bone in it, but they were able to catch and remove it. Also, their side salad was huge. Service was friendly, but quite busy. She did great overall. In brief, this was my second time eating from this place ( the first time I ordered the salmon Cesar salad), and I'm impressed with the food quality and taste. Would eat here again & and recommend it to others.”

Wifey laughed, but I'm seriously not sure because of how tasty it was - like a kind of foodgasm that I've never experienced in my life despite travelling in South East Asia for months and eating some seriously delicious food there. But then this? In San Mateo? Best food in the world 🌎. No kidding. Pho Beef ball soup 🍲 and 5 spice vermicelli chicken 🍗 were amazing!”

“Little Lucca has superb sandwiches! The tri-tip was great (forgot to photograph it) and the pastrami was good as well. The bread was fresh, the meat tasty and tender. The toppings/vegetables all tasted fresh and refreshing as well. I've only ever ordered online, but the sandwiches are always ready on time. The staff is great too, excellent customer service. Oh, the sandwiches are massive. Just the right size for me though!”

“A cute lil taqueria with minimal seating but with very distinctive and easily recognized exterior. The worker was on feet, courteous and joyful. It's always a good sight to hear a kitchen full of cheerful coworkers at a restaurant 💞💞💞 I got the Torta Cubana and I have to say half of one is so filling (and I have a big appetite). I would say "inflation where?" after one bite because every bite was so decadently filled with well seasoned sausages, meat, peppers and onions. The hibiscus agua de fresca is amazing too! Overall, would come back!”
