“This tiny, unpretentious, award-winning gelateria sells proper egg-free gelato, with nuanced taste, not too sweet, no unpleasant aftertaste whatsoever. It is located in a quiet pedestrian street. There are only 5 tables indoors, and they are often taken. Normally there are some tables outside, but best to be prepared for take-away as plan B. No wifi, no WC, just excellent gelatos (and sorbets).”

“My children asked to visit here, whilst we had a trip out of the countryside to the city, they mention some you tuber rates their pizzas. So I gave in and what a fantastic surprise, it’s not your traditional Italian thin light pizza and I can only describe the pizza as “ pizza pie” it tasted fantastic. Well worth a visit and the possible small wait outside to get seated.”

“No wonder Pophams is so popular - the pastries were incredible! I went on a Sunday morning and the place was full with a queue to enter. - I got the Feta & Tomato pastry and the cardamom bun. The layers on the pastry speak of the crispiness already. - The pastries are served warm and super fresh. It was a delight - fresh and crisp. - Cardamom bun was an interesting find. I love cardamom and I really liked this one. - coffee was ok, nothing to speak highly of but the pastries were the real highlight. - The decor is very pleasing with soothing colors and minimalist design. - Service is friendly and quick. Quite easily one of my favorite bakeries in London! Loved it totally.”

“Very busy neighbourhood Italian, with Maurizio and Luca with a friendly welcome for all. Arancini and polenta with bacon in a mushroom sauce were rather delicious. The pasta dishes were so tasty, and filling. The pizzas also looked really good and were a very generous size. Dessert was the staple Italian favourite, Tiramisu. Again a generous portion, very creamy, but it could have done with a stronger coffee hit to really set it off nicely. Overall a great place to get stuck in to some great food.”

Would definitely recommend coming especially as it wasn't that expensive. Between 10 people the bill came up to about £180 and we all left with containers to take home.”
