“Amazing! My partner and I recently had a week's stay in wooler and we visited this restaurant. We were that blown away first time around, we had to go back before we went home. Portions are very good, everything we ate was very good and everything was very reasonably priced! If we didn't live a 100 mile round trip away, we'd definitely make this our regular treat. If you're close by, book yourself a table as it is really worth it!”

“I visited the Robin Hood Inn for a wreath making class with a group of friends. The package was £65 and included a welcome tea/coffee and mince pie, wreath making class, glass of Prosecco and a two course lunch. Superb experience. The stuff were friendly and welcoming, the wreath making was brilliant and the food was of a high standard. Would recommend.”

“Usually a lovely Christmas Eve dinner with family. Staff were also kind enough to find us a table even though we had managed to miss the requirement of a deposit (my bad!). Dining room was lovely and a great atmosphere; food was on the whole very nice apart from my partners meal. We never send food back but the pheasant she ordered was still raw in the middle which isn’t a problem as I know it is difficult to get pink. However, upon receiving it again it was still very raw in the centre; we were slightly embarrassed at this point so decided to mention it at the end. The manager said he would sort something out for us when we pointed it out but we never received anything once getting the bill other than a very unapologetic attitude for something that cost >£20. I expected some form of compensation and I’m not a massive moaner at restaurants as I know staff are under pressure at busy times, this experience made me wonder if I should be in future…. Won’t be coming back again for Xmas Eve despite being here last 4 years. Definitely would recommend for a drink though!”

Main course came with veg, chips and sauce served on the side. Prices were reasonable we had one starter 2 mains and a round of drinks for £42.”

“Firstly just want to say a big thank you to the staff for getting us in here tonight after another establishment messed up our booking. This place certainly has the wow factor. The ambience of the place is gorgeous, our server Beth was so attentive and was well mannered, polite and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. We will certainly be back when we are next on our holidays up here. The starters we had were halloumi fires and cajun prawns Mains were - Chicken & chorizo burger. Steak and chips Fish and chip Fishcake Sliders And child's pasta All were absolutely delicious.”

“Delicious food, probably the best Indian we’ve ever had in the UK. Restaurant situated in a little village, pretty surroundings, ample parking. Staff were so attentive and friendly - taught us how to fold napkins into crowns! Everything we had ordered was outstanding and we ( three kids under ten and parents) all left full and happy. Will definitely be coming back. Favourite dishes were the Chicken Handi Lazeez and the Lamb Zaal Jhul - yum ❤️”

“I would love to give this 5 stars all round but despite being one of the best Sunday lunches taste and quality wise, it was let down by being on the cool side. The food arrived being held with cloths suggesting piping hot plates, they were just warm and the meat and veg were the same. The quality and flavour was however most excellent and the staff were super friendly and helpful.”

“Amazing afternoon tea! The cherry and chocolate cheesecake was my favourite. Portions are huge. I’m a big eater and even struggled to finish my cake and had to take my scone home, so good value for money. I love how you choose what you want, rather than having to get the same usual afternoon tea stuff. Also unlimited tea or coffee, tea was really nice.”
