“Very solid restaurant overall, especially recommended for meat lovers (but not only). We tried brisket and turkey as mains. Brisket was definitely more flavorful than turkey. I felt like the turkey was just okay- not super great but also not too bad, lacking salt for me. What I really really liked were burned brisket ends, garlic mashed potatoes (buttery soft and packed with garlic flavor), meaty bbq beans and pecan pie! For people who aren’t huge on meat I would recommend skipping the “main” dishes and ordering large sides and dessert. We were there on a Sunday night- not a single empty table, and the space is rather small w tables close to each other, so prepare to raise your voice if you really want to have a conversation.”

“By far, the best restaurant we visited on our short break to Amsterdam. The food did not take long to come and was piping hot, made fresh. The combination vegan platter was very affordable for 3 adults and so filling. The owner/worker recommended us nice traditional drinks which were great. the atmosphere in the restaurant was also great, seemed like a good hidden spot for locals. First time trying Ethiopian food as it is not common where I live, and everything about the restaurant was amazing, will be coming back soon!”
