“This is a review from their catering. I consider myself someone that knows BBQ very well as I do a lot of smoking myself. They hit the mark on all points. Brisket was tender, has a great bark. Pulled pork and chicken were fantastic, the cornbread was A+++ and the Mac and cheese was delicious! I live in Tacoma but will come back when I’m in the area.”

“Sorry this is long...We had to try this place! I don't even know how to start to describe this place. It's located in an industrial area and you can barely see the sign at night. I made reservations by leaving a message. The chef called back 3 times before I was able to talk to him. When I made the reservations he told me about some of his rules - vaccination card, photo ID, no jeans, dress nice, cash only and no tipping. And be on time. I debated to go or not because of all the rules. It's truly a ONE MAN SHOW! He's the host, the chef, waiter, busser, and dishwasher. When you walk in he tells you to go to the bathroom and wash your hands then sit on the bench until he's ready. He then ask for your ID placed next to your vaccination card to make sure it's you. The rules are typed out and then the menu is in a binder with several different languages available. When he takes your order he then also collects the money (tells us the coins are cleaned and sanitized). This whole experience was comical. Food was pretty good overall. Definitely great value for the price! We just kept laughing because it was such an odd experience. There were hats and T-shirts on a shelf. They aren't for sale but if you donate to cancer research you can grab a T-shirt. But once you touch them you have to donate. There was a sign written about the donation but was very confusing on how to donate. We tried to ask him but he was so short and rude to us, we still didn't know how to pay. Then we thought he said to pay online so we did. When we were leaving he asked why didn't we put money in the jar for the donation (in another area). I showed him my receipt on my phone but he was confused, didn't want to listen to me explain and said that's fine we can leave. We were very irritated. But made the best of it and laughed it off. At 8:30pm he called and explained that he didn't know we paid online. That another couple there overheard and told him that's what we did. He called to tell us thank you and that no one has ever paid digitally. It was such an odd experience and I'm glad we went. He's very direct and see things black and white. You just have to try this place out yourself! I can't even explain everything about this place!”

“Such a great experience. Be warned you are going to have to wait quite a while, I got here just as they opened and had to wait 3 hours. They serve a lot of the community. Every single volunteer is so incredibly nice though and they make quiet an effort to give you everything you need and avoid any allergies or foods that you just have a distaste for. The wait may be long, but they are quiet generous in how much they give you! They even sometimes have cat/ dog food for those who need it”

“This place is so good, well lit and spacious. The food portions were large, great quality and great value for the price you pay. The menu also has lots of Taiwanese specialties. Highly recommend it. My only complaint is they could do better at cleaning, the sauces and chili containers were stuck to the table and oily.”

“The dine-in area was filthy, they couldn't even be bothered to wipe the tables off. The food was mediocre, just a tiny portion of meat on top of plain white rice. Also, the young man at the front counter didn't even know how to work the credit card machine, which was odd, considering that's one of the main responsibilities of the job. Overall, it's just not worth your money.”

“Food is good as usual but the stuff at the store are not helpful at all. When you walk in nobody says anything to you. Nobody tries to help you. So I went up to the register. Ordered my food. Left for a few minutes. Wow they were preparing it. They said it would be at the end of the table for me, when I get back with my name on it. Came back and didn’t seem to see it about 20 minutes stood there for a few minutes nobody said a single word to me, so I left came back in about another 5 to 10 minutes still didn’t see my name on my pizza so I stood there for another few minutes nobody said a single word to me, or tried to help me and then I realized my pizza had been sitting there the whole time they just spelt my name incorrectly, and I wasn’t aware that it was mine. And then, without saying anything or them saying anything I just grab the pizza walked out and left. I could’ve grabbed any pizza. I wanted really. Just wasn’t friendly wasn’t inviting wasn’t helpful. This would be Tuesday, January 16 5 PM.”
