“I really enjoyed the sushi itself, and the prices are quite fair. The hot items in particular are really reasonable. The ordering experience needs some work, though. I wish the conveyor belt had been working, but that apparently hasn't been a thing for years. Some items took much longer than others to come out, and it was a bit confusing when it came time to get the check or make more orders. Staff was very nice and helpful, but the whole point of going to a sushi place like this is to not have to bother too much with calling staff over, IMO.”

“I love Indonesian food. It always hit that sweet spot between sweet and spicy Thai and the seafood-rich Polynesian cuisines without being either. It really is its own thing—a mélange of foods and cultures, like Indonesia. I cannot rave more about the house sambal. It is made in-house, so fresh and fruity, that I wanted to keep eating long after my stomach hit its spice limit. The wide rice noodles I got are the same fun I grew up eating Cantonese, the same pad in pad Thai, cooked at high enough heat that they remained loose, instead of glomming together into a gooey mess, but not overly greasy either. Yes. They have some less scary variations of chicken satay and fried bananas that would not be too exotic for my less gastronomically adventurous friends and relatives. There are plenty of vegan and gluten-free options for those with more restrictive diets. But the colors and flavors unique to Indonesian food are all there—that bright, aromatic, and spicy crossroad of cuisines, like the glittering jewels of islands they came from.”

“I came here on a week day for lunch. Ordering ahead is recommended but I nearby so I walked over. In all, it took just over 30 minutes for me to receive my order. I ordered the pork druken noddles and can't recommend them enough! The noodles were very flavorful the the pork and veggies were cooked/seasoned very well. Besides getting congested around lunch (expected) my only complaint was that I was charged the dinner price instead of the lunch menu. I didn't specify at the time I ordered because I thought the lunch menu would have been the default - best to specify though.”

“This is a pretty good foodshelf. You are able to "shop" for your food, which is nice because then you can get stuff you and your family actually need and will eat. The staff is really nice. I missed the coat drive I was going to go to for a heavy coat so I only had a thin one and it is starting to get really cold at nights. I asked if they had any winter coats by chance for me & my fiance. They gave us each a nice, brand new, really warm winter coat and a few pairs of thick wool socks, mittens, hats, tons of hand warmer packages and a pretty, warm & soft blanket (my new favorite blanket😊).”

Meat for the PHO smelled off...off...not good. Threw it all out and getting a refund.. The lettuce looked like either someone had bitten into it? Or a rabbit ate a bite. Either way? The piece was rotten...scroll in..rotten. it couldn't have been missed it was a big piece! BIG! This is so so UNACCEPTABLE...not cheap either. Almost $60 for two people, with a couple Boba teas... The health rating on the door of "ok" wasn't a good indicator...I should have passed at that point. 😕”

“My partner and I had a very enjoyable dine in experience. The food was good but clearly designed for takeout. However, I must add that any loss in quality is made up for in quantity. “I used to really enjoy this place 6 years ago. When I had an açaí craving last weekend, I visited and was extremely disappointed. I got the regular sized Verve Bowl for $12.50 (pretty standard price for an açaí bowl). The açaí was grainy, the strawberries and blueberries were sour, and the honey didn't pair well at all. I’d much rather get the Açaí Primo from Jamba Juice (essentially the same as the Verve Bowl) for $11. Or even the Sambazon Açaí Bowls from AmazonFresh… Lastly, the staff wasn't friendly or welcoming. They didn't acknowledge customers entering or leaving the store. I also noticed them passing judgmental looks on at their customers that did nothing to deserve it... This is an issue that needs to be brought up to management.”
