“I have been going here for close to 20 years so would be deemed a regular. Food is always consistent and staff engaging and provide good service. This is a difficult business to be in (I know as I also own a restaurant!). Consistency is the key to keeping going and doing well. None of us always get it right, but this is a good place, generally they do get it right and worthy of good reviews. There are lots of pretty awful Fish and Chip Shops in London, this is a good one.”

“I have been wanting to go to the dumpling shack for years but never been in the area. Anyway, resolved that today. Unfortunately they had to open later than advertised (11.30 rather than 11) but luckily I had some time and could wait. They were serving fast when open and very popular. I loved my prawn dumplings they were stunning. The scallion noodles I was less taken with, a bit too oily for me. Some veggie options, but a small menu so I advise you check it out online in advance before you arrive.”

I just notice the accessibility is not the best in the square near the church and also is not a lot of bins near the food stands to dispose the garbage. But you wouldn’t eat in the middle of the crowd. Only open on Thursday from 9am to 2pm. All weekdays you could find hot or cold food inside the UCL Campus.”

“Very cute atmosphere- was quiet when we went but nice decor of pale pinks and greens, flowers and cute lights and mirrors and swings. Food and drinks all really fresh and tasty, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. This is a great place for a teens or a girly brunch/ tea. “First time coming here and it was lovely. The desserts were very tasty and indulgent. I had ice cream with caramel sauce and also a triple chocolate fudge cake and my hubby had a jammie doughnut drizzled with sauce and crushed biscuit. The only reason I didn't give it a 5* was that the lady serving us at the till seemed confused. If I knew the cake came with ice cream I probably wouldn't have ordered ice cream and in the end couldn't finish the one that came with the cake. Overall still a good place with good customer service and we will definitely be coming back.”

“My original review for Tasty China appears to have been deleted. The following is based on recent visit. Prior to Covid we used to visit the Tasty China several times a year, and held various parties at the restaurant where we took over the majority of the establishment. The Tasty C is well known for its all you can eat menu, but please don't order more than you can eat. The starters are still amazing with dishes like salt/pepper prawns and squid, spicy chicken wings, spare ribs and spicy soups. The mains are good but not a patch on the starters. Recommended”
