“You can not imagine what a terrible place it is! We ordered 2 chicken tikka massala and some other things. You can see the tikka massala in the pictures. It’s not that. But that was the smallest problem. When I told to the waiter, it’s not that food what I ordered, he told us, “just a minute, I will come back”. A few minutes later, an older guy and a lady came to our table and their were very very aggressive. I realy didn’t understand what’s happening here, It was very crazy, they were as two crazy zombie from a moovie. When I could tell anything (it was few minutes) I ask them what theirs problem. They told me, theirs colleague told them, we didn’t want to pay… when I told them It didn’t happend, I told only the waiter that it’s not tikka massala, they told with the same behavior when they arrived, it’s tikka massala and let’s pay… a litle bit later the waiter admitted, that we realy didn’t tell, we won’t want to pay. But no apologize from the two aggressive employes. So I don’t suggest this place, I think it’s understandable. After the reply: They are liars as well. No offer to choose something else, no apologize, only the agressiveness. It’s unacceptable not only if I’m a guest, but between people generaly. In a country like Netherland, where most of the people are very normal and respect each other. In this place it’s not right. And we can start to talk about what is tikka massala and they are right, you can find some differences between countries, but it was like a terrible gyros, anybody can see it. Nothing to do with tikka massala. So they can call a bone for steak and they can tell it’s the steak here but it’s only lie.”

“Most probably the best fries I’ve ever ate in my life! In combination with the truffle mayonnaise super yummy! My all time favorite since 2019 (the year when I moved to Rotterdam, The Netherlands). Always stopping by when friends from abroad are visiting. Directly located in the heart of the Witte de Withstraat. Definitely a must when in Rotterdam and craving for a fried snack. Also vegan options available. Also terrace in front to feel the living vibe of the street. I never paid cash so I can only confirm that they accept cashless payment 😉”

“Food poisoning | voedselvergiftiging I got a poke bowl here on the 28th of December (I know the review is a little late, but better late than never, since it is important to warn others). I built my own bowl and as the protein, I chose their slow cooked beef. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning from this and spent the night in bed with cramps, nausea and diarrhea. I wasn't able to get anything down the days after this as I was still very sick. This was very unfortunate, as I had to spend NYE on the couch eating nothing but dry crackers and drinking water. I'm very disappointed, I love the menu of the store and the atmosphere, but after this experience, together with the 2-3 other reviews stating food poisoning/severe stomach problems, I will not be returning to this place and recommend anyone else to stay away.”

“We had a very enjoyable experience here, although we got delivered the wrong dishes twice and the bill from another table when we needed to pay, luckily they were quick in fixing everything, and we got the right food and payed the right amount. I was slightly scared to go here since I have a very sensitive stomach, and there were some reviews that mentioned foodpoisoning, but I had no issues whatsoever, nor did any of our party. The food was good and the amounts were nice, the desserts were slightly boring, but good enough! I had the duck bowl and the duck bao bun (the bao bun dish is absolutely epic!)”
