“Oh what a great experience!!! It was easy to find on Google map, the location is just beside the road from Doncaster. This farm has a very large parking space that can park over 100 vehicles. So there are bowls at the farm entrance as you enter the farm. At time of visit, only sunflowers and strawberries were available for Picking. They have other fruits and vegetables at different times of the year like pumpkin, sweet corn and so on. After picking, we return to the farm shop where there was a little queue for payment. It was a weekend, so the queue is not odd as many people will typically visit on weekend. We paid for our fruits in few minutes and also bought some displayed fruits and veggies at the farm shop. The displayed ones are a bit pricy. They sell 1kg of strawberry for 4 pounds which is very fair. The cafe on site sells amazing treats. We had their carrot cake, oh it was decadent. And run and raisin ice cream which is just okay. It was an amazing experience with my spouse and we will surely return.”

For instance ordering from duck king, who is Hong Kong style roast meat Specialist is probably OK. As is Taiwanese, and Korean chick king but the Japanese place is not great, same for the Thai place. It's good value, but you need to discover what you like, and what is nice. I often see nearly full plates left behind by disappointed punters.”

Fair variety of drinks available as well. It's NOT. A sit down restaurant where you are waited on but Industrial kitchens and some benches / tables to eat at. Parking might be a problem as only roadside available. A full 14 inch pepperoni pizza and 2 drinks costs 14 quid. Worth a try.”

“Lovely pub with fantastic food. We were staying close by and phoned on the off-chance they had space that evening. We were happy to sit outside as we had our dog with us and we were fitted in. When we arrived they had sorted the table outside in advance with cutlery and an umbrella up. Service was excellent and the food was unbelievable!! Clearly home cooked, freshly prepared and large portions. Had the chicken and Ham pie, Steak and Ale pie, Fish and Chips and Gammon. For dessert we had Sticky Toffee pudding and Mars Bar Cheesecake (the days special). Would recommend all the food, but special mentions for the 'full to bursting pies' and both the desserts. Would definitely go back when we visit the Lake District again. Update - we returned this week. Food was just as good, service was quick and friendly. The steak and ale pie was just as good, and the katsu curry was very nice. For dessert the chocolate cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding were still fantastic and very reasonably priced at just £6.50.”

“Not as good as it used to be. Ordered two chicken split ting meals for £12.50 after being told it was a better deal than ordering two chicken split meals on their own. However they missed off the chips for this meal, as well as the four hot wings. We didn’t notice until we were back home. We were left with just 2 splits, 2 pieces of chicken fried breast, plantain, 2 pieces of pineapple cake and small chips for £24. The chicken split isn’t as big or as plenty full as it used to be. The fried chicken is dry. The plantain was dry and hard. Great selection of drinks and the cake is amazing even if a little expensive comparatively. The curry goat was also on point. Disappointed overall”
