“We drove through Hermann today. Doxie Slush was the best choice we could have made for lunch. All of the slushies we tried were outstanding with fun garnishes to tell them apart! They offer flights so you don’t have to choose just one. The food was high class restaurant quality. We didn’t go to Hermann just for lunch but we probably will next time. Doxie Slush was worth the drive from St. Peters!”

“I saw the name of this place pop up a few times when I would look for something to eat. I was driving to a location for work and looked over and the name stood out because of the colors. Once it was time for lunch I figured I would go ahead and give it a try. But before I went in I looked at their menu to see what they had and basically knew what I was going to get once I entered. I got the Vada Pav, which is a spiced potato patty and it's batter fried then more spices and put on a bun. I didn't know what to expect but it tasted good. This was something that I never had so I wasn't used to it and had to kind of take it in, but I definitely liked it and would get it again. I also had the Falooda, which is a Rose Flavored Milkshake. Never had that and never heard of it before. So it peaked my interest but I wasn't sure of how it would taste with this Rose flavor. He brought it out to the table and it looked like something that should be in a commercial, how good it looked. I went ahead and took a sip and my mind was blown. It definitely tasted like rose but it tasted so good. And it may sound weird but it tasted pretty. There is a rose perfume that I had smelled that smells so beautiful and when I tasted it it immediately reminded me of that and I said it tastes just like how that perfume smells. Once I finished I was debating on if I should take one home.”

“Traveling I-49 N, read 4.5 stars for this restaurant, and decided to give it a try. Ordered chopped brisket, twice baked potato casserole, and baked beans. Customer service was great, cashier was polite and friendly. Brisket had good smoked flavor however the portion was small and contained fatty pieces of meat. Sides were okay, nothing special. Overall 4 stars for this visit.”

“We almost didn't find the place. Google maps lead us to a back alley parking lot. As we gave up and were leaving we drove by the large inflated hot dog and classic car on the main road, slammed on the brakes and turned into the parking lot of what seemed to be a car repair shop. We walked into the building and found Hot Dog man and his hot dog stand. Super nice guy. He answered our million questions as he expertly made his hot dog masterpieces. We will definitely be back next time we are visiting Union/St Louis!”

After photographing my niece and her boyfriend's portraits at the parlor a few weeks ago, we decided to take them out for dessert today for her birthday. The ice cream did NOT disappoint! Ice cream was sweet and cold, service was perfection, and who wouldn't LOVE the fun atmosphere, with the sock hop vibes, complete with music from the juke box! “I’ve been waiting to try these crispy babes! We had cheeseburger, vegan lemongrass chicken, dogtown pizza, side of teriyaki noodles, and apple pie. Surprisingly, the noodles were my favorite. They were delicious! Loved the pizza and lemongrass chicken. Didn’t particularly care for the cheeseburger but there wasn’t anything wrong with them, just not my vibe. Curbside was quick and easy. The person who brought my food out was very kind. I’m looking forward to exploring their menu more!”

“The very first time that I ever heard of Jalapeño Tacos KC (also known as Jalapeño Brothers) was when my father told my family about a food truck serving Mexican food next to the Shell gas station (now turned into Sunoco) and World Liquors convenience store on Prairie View Road near Interstate 29. Every time me and my family visit Jalapeño Tacos KC, I usually see a tabletop game for table football (also called table soccer or foosball), posters, statuettes, and memorabilia related to Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling. There is even a television screen inside the restaurant of Jalapeño Brothers for the customers to be entertained while watching Lucha Libre wrestling. The staff at Jalapeño Tacos KC (Jalapeño Brothers) are a family with kids, and this means that the Mexican food taqueria is family-owned. The Mexican family from Jalapeño Tacos KC are big fans of the major sports teams based in the Kansas City metropolitan area, and there is also some memorabilia that relates to the major sports teams in Kansas City. There is also a self-service station for customers to pick out any salsas, hot sauces, and toppings to put on their Mexican food platter. The menu at Jalapeño Tacos KC (Jalapeño Brothers) has a wide variety of Mexican dishes that have options for customers to choose from. If customers are searching around the Kansas City metropolitan area for a Mexican food taqueria that provides a wide variety of ingredients for many different Mexican dishes, I would recommend that Jalapeño Tacos KC (also known as Jalapeño Brothers) is the restaurant to visit. Besides the delicious variety of food and unique service style from a Mexican family that has their young children helping them out at Jalapeño Brothers, the restaurant also offers a tabletop game of table football (also called foosball) and a television for customers to watch Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling. In the near future, Jalapeño Tacos KC (Jalapeño Brothers) is planning to open its own Mexican-style Paleteria (an ice cream shop that is known for serving paletas, or Mexican Popsicles). The Paleteria will be named “Jalapeños Ice Cream Shop”, but the Jalapeño Tacos KC part will still remain.
