Bouldin Acres

Closed until 11:00 AM

2027 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704, United States

“Food and drinks are ordered on an app. Service is fairly quick and the staff is friendly. Mimosa kit is a good value and the food is on point. The place is dog friendly, enough shade and misters over a portion of the tables. There is a pickle ball court and they had a couple of bulls there for photo ops which was interesting. There is lot of parking and definitely a spot I’d return to.”

96 Rainey St, Austin, TX 78701, United States

“This location is a food truck near the corner of Rainey and Driskill. It’s parked outside of LP. Square cut, Detroit style-ish, thick pizza. It’s definitely one of the better pizza spots in Austin. I’ve been working my way through the menu and so far everything I’ve had has been on point. Wait time can be a while if they are busy but it’s definitely worth it. Great for after a night of drinking or cold the next morning.”

3108 Manor Rd, Austin, TX 78723, United States

“I can see the food is okay, it's a nice place to bring the family I suppose. It reminds me of a Chili's. There's just one small caveat. They smoke there meet outside in the parking lot. They wash off spills directly onto the concrete and which goes into the curb side into the watershed drainage. Even the mean shut off the water is saturated by fat. It leaches down the bike lane. Cars run through the meat by-product run off and leave tracks throughout the parking lot including Manor. The smell of it permeates everything. There are roaches and rats at night. I don't know how they get away with this washing off meat into public walkways and streets. Perhaps code compliance doesn't pertain to them The food is good. But I wouldn't want to bring my children or pets around this place at all. It's basically sewage runoff at the street side.”

Capital City Bakery

2211 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702, United States

“I did not realize that this was a vegan bakery (we just were walking by) so my taste wouldn’t really count here but I personally was not a fan. When we walked in there were only a few cupcakes left since it was the end of the day/weekend. They did look good though. The biggest problem I had was how filthy the place looked. The decor was cute (of course) but the floors and tables were all DIRTY. The place was welcoming enough. We had to wipe down the table, but sitting there looking at the super dirty floor was not appetizing.”

“My boyfriend and I liked going here because it is a convenient drive thru and the food is usually really good. But the past few times we’ve gone for a morning taco run, we’ve experienced issues: Egg shells in tacos Hair in tacos (picture attached) Incorrect order was taken and no repeat/confirmation of order (worker at register did refund us and we were appreciative) These are easy fixes and we understand stuff happens, but lately it’s been more bad experiences than good.”

“I had higher expectations for the food, but as other reviews mentioned it seems that the price point doesn't line up at all with the quality. We came during the brunch menu and ordered the spinach cheese dip to start with and I'm not sure what the standard for it is, but I'm truly baffled how both the chef and our server could look at it and decide it should ever leave the kitchen. What little cheese wasn't burned had been reduced to a congealed cottage cheese consistency. It's the first time I've ever sent a dish back. The chef(?) came out at some point after we sent it back and made small talk before going back inside, but never mentioned the dish to either explain or apologise. The server removed it from our ticket but didn't make any suggestions or effort to replace it. The rest of the meal was mediocre. We ordered a medium brick burger that came out well done, the crab Benedict was crab cakes that had very little flavour, the seasonal salad was an underwhelming plain spinach salad with a sprinkling of blueberries and strawberries and a dressing you don't need to write home about, the smoked brisket in the hash didn't taste smoked. Decided against dessert because I didn't want to see if it would match the rest of the experience. Overall I want to rate the food 1/5, maybe 2/5 because the staff are kind. The third star is for the beauty of the vineyard, the music and the quality of the wine. The Super Texas was a little too astringent for my tastes, but the rest of the wines are beautiful and definitely unique. I recommend people should go for the wine, the views and the live music, but eat before you go or stick to the pizzas.”

“Both Liang Pi and Beef Noodle are really good. The Liang Pi sauce is authentic, paring with sesame sauce and chili oil. The noodle is hand-pulled, really chewy and tasty, I like it a lot. There is a lot of beef and the beef is super tender. And I appreciate a lot the separate packing, keeping the noodle in good shape instead of soaking in the soup.”

“Wow I’m so disappointed. Heard good things and came but the rice was so bad, chicken tasted stale, and toppings weren’t fresh. Quite expensive ($15) for mediocre food that tastes microwaveable. Would highly recommend skipping this place. Not to mention staff looked sad. :/”

“A place I truly adore is closing at the end of this month. Really breaks my heart to hear this but I have high hopes for really successful & huge plans in the future. What I've loved from the Pho Craft truck is that they had a rooftop dining spot, lower covered area, and a small indoor section. Their Vietnamese coffee & vermicelli is my absolute fave in town ✨ I've tried ✨ ∙ vietnamese coffee - the best mix of coffee to condensed milk gives it a creamy taste with a small amount of bitter. ∙ pork bahn mi sandwich - fluffy bread, flavorful pork, along with the freshness of the veggies ∙ steak pho | hot, aromatic, flavorful broth, choice of 3 different meats, and then with a great selection of veggies to throw in ∙ pork belly bao buns | nothing too different about these classic bao buns but they've nailed them ∙ vermicelli | a great mix of noodles, sauce, peanuts, lettuce, pickled carrots, cilantro, and more. ∙ crab rangoon | tasty rangoons with a perfect dipping sauce ∙ baognets (2) | these were something I've never tried before but I absolutely loved the fried bao buns that were like beignets. I'll miss you Pho Craft but I know your next moves will be done right and thoroughly. I will be here to support you!”

“Great taco truck located right next to the new fleet coffee. They have excellent tacos. The atmosphere here is great. Perfect for cool summer mornings and anytime it’s not feeling like the surface of the sun in Austin. La Santa boasts special corn tortillas. It’s really awesome. Go check it out.”

“Wow! My wife and I went to Sammataro this afternoon to enjoy some pizza - we were pleasantly surprised that it’s not just a pizza joint. The outdoor space is pet-friendly, and a comfortable space for big and small groups. The guy at the window took our order was helpful and threw some chili oil in on the house. We ordered meatball pie and it was incredible. Their true wood burning oven creates an incredible crust and under carriage on the pizza. The meatball was incredible and their cheese was excellent. It was nice to have the wine show Cork and a Screw in the same park to enjoy some natural wines with their pizza. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Went for the first time and had the lunch special: any two slices and a drink for $6.99. The house made sausage was great. The margherita was good too, but I prefer a red pie and they only had white. Perfectly cooked and crust that had me thinking of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. Can't wait to go back.”

Carabao Express

“The pictures of the Boodle Box look great, right? I mean, what's not to like in those pictures? The colors are fantastic, the amount and variety of different dishes in one container are things that most of us find appealing and the price is great for what you get... all good stuff, right? Yes, for most, I'm guessing... for adventurous people who want to try out Philippine cuisine that don't know any better, that do not know what good Filipino food should taste like. If you are Filipino/a who knows how Philippine cuisine should taste like, or anyone else who knows the tastes.... DO NOT come here because their Google listing appealed to you because of the great photos and menu prices, you will be highly disappointed. Don't waste your time travelling to this place and spending your money on the food. It's a lot of food in that box... tocino, pancit, rice, lechon kawali, chicken adobo, 1 lumpiang Shanghai roll, and 1 mini vegetable fried lumpia... again, awesome variety right? NONE of it tasted good. Ok, of course this is a subjective review but... I grew up on Filipino food, both at home and countless other homes and Filipino restaurants. I am no expert but I know how Filipino food should taste. This is THE first time in my 50 years of living I came into a restaurant and sampled basically all the staples and I found ALL dishes I ordered both unappealing and unsatisfying. So much so, I worked hard on eating at least half of it, just so I wouldn't waste it all. What's the story here? How is this place called Carabao Express? (I love this name by the way, another reason I decided to come and try it). It definitely made me think as I was dining there. One characteristic of a Filipino restaurant is staff... usually, there's at least one Filipino person. Here, there was none. Enough said.”
