“After two attempts, I finally got my hand on some doughnuts at MJs. Since the selection was vast, I ordered as much as my wallet would allow. 4 Apple Fritters, a Maple Bacon donut, Cinnamon Sugar, and a Cinnamon Roll along with a glazed twisted doughnut. Now the doughnuts were cold, but what do you expect? There's no conveyor belt here ( hint hint). I know when a doughnut needs seven seconds in the microwave to really shine and let me tell you I'd trade everything I ordered for the Maple bacon doughnut because that was the "one" for me. With my order and after finding out that it was my first time successfully visiting (remember I went before and there wasn't that big of a selection, so I left empty-handed), she gave me a ton of doughnut holes on top of all that I ordered. They weren't my favorite doughnuts, but they were really good. The owner, I assume, was the woman working the front, but nonetheless, she was kind and so warm. As I was leaving, there were a few ppl coming in, and they seemed like regulars because she was preparing his box as he walked in, and I could hear some friendly banter!”

Their menu is extensive and the bacon, egg and cheese bagel was amazing. Their home made veggie cream cheese is also very good!”

“Very spacious indoor seating areas with numerous high tables. I was very impressed with the number of fruity/Sour beers on tap which was my preference. The employees were super friendly. I had three flights since I wanted to try a little bit of most of the beers offered. The flights included up to four options with 5 oz pours. I tried the following: 1. Pineapple Cider 2. Are you ready kids (pineapple coconut sour) 3. Doctor Love (Cherry Sour) 4. Bitchin Betty Brown Ale 5. Whole Lotta Rosie (caramel cream coffee Blonde ale) 6. Not your mommy's kitchen 7. Crushin It 8. The ginger avenger (lemon and ginger seltzer) 9. Wheat keep you berry safe 10. Fallback Crutch (West Coast IPA) 11. Bang bang (Hazy IPA) 12. Strawberry Rhubarb Cider Most of these were good and I would recommend them. There was a Charlotte FC match going on when i visited - It seems Charlotte FC/soccer fans gather here when Charlotte FC are playing away matches. It's definitely a brewery I would visit again if I'm in the area.”

“Great taco shop! I love the purpose behind the food - every time you eat here, you help feed those who are hungry. Such an awesome idea. The tacos are huge portions, larger than normal tacos and come in a lot of tasty flavors. The restaurant space is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. Will be back!”

“Amazing in every way! I’m so glad this was the place I decided to try in Optimist Hall. The chicken and shrimp dumplings were extremely good. The spicy noodles were VERY spicy, but still great. This place is popular too and for good reason. There was a line wrapped around, but we still got our food rather quickly.”

There are two levels of seating, both inside and outside has plenty of space for seating. Food trucks offered seven days a week. Very modern age building that was tastefully created. Child friendly as well as dog friendly.”
