“Ordered the evil Caesar, the godmother and the truffle sandwich. Went to pick up my order and when I got to my car I decided to check to make sure I was given the correct order. The only thing correct in my order was the salad. After going back inside they apologized and made me two fresh sandwiches and threw in a drink and slice on the house. The sandwiches were great however the salad had little to no dressing on it. I did not order extra dressing but the salad barely had any on it to begin with. All and all not a great experience.”

“I wasn't too impressed by the empanadas. They have a good variety of flavors but the taste is average and needs more seasoning. Some of them, like the Chicken Bacon Ranch and Cuban, are so cheesy it's overwhelming. The only good one was the Spicy Chicken. I don't plan to revisit in the future. “I was excited for my meal after reading excellent reviews here. The no menu schtick is a trap for the chef to provide inconsiderate service and arbitrary pricing. When I walked in I bought into the romanticization of the chef owner concept. Don’t make that mistake. By the time I left, 2 hours later for 2 small dishes, I’d been served over-cooked, over-seasoned, lazily prepared food in an uncomfortable setting. I was charged an exorbitant price for the displeasure. Worst meal I’ve had in NYC. Due to the chef’s aggressive and rude manners I couldn’t have a conversation with my guest without the chef intruding. I am alarmed by the lack of basic food handling safety. The chef and owner Ali was coughing and sneezing onto the dishes as he prepared them. Bleach and other cleaning products are stored haphazardly adjacent to food prep areas. See attached photo for the conditions of the cooking space and equipment. Due for an inspection ASAP. Do yourself a favor and go to any number of excellent options in the neighborhood instead.”

“The absolute worst mofongo I’ve ever ordered. It was wet and lack consistency. The sauce was just pure oil. Called the restaurant and they asked me where I was from? I didn’t answer however I’m Puerto Rican and have had amazing mofongo here in Queens. DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!”
