Bistro Barberet & Bakery
4.7

26 E King St, Lancaster, PA 17602, United States

“Amazing bakery with a large selection of unique deserts! Large selection of macaroons, too. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They can get busy, but they are pretty quick. There is a counter to sit and eat your deserts. There is also a restaurant inside too. I've only been here for the bakery and deserts, which are all fantastic! If you are near by or walking around downtown, this is a must to visit!”

“I found the Parc Bistro about 5 years ago, and have enjoyed dining there a few times a year ever since. Each time has been an amazing experience. I love that the menu changes by the season and I love that the meals are "always unique." The food is exceptional and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. The presentation of the food is beautiful and the food combinations and flavors are always a wonderful surprise to your taste buds. If you are a real "foodie" and you're looking for a meal that is a treat for your senses, this is the place to come to. I have never met the chef, although I understand he has been there for 26 years, and I hope he stays forever! He is extremely creative and very talented. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a special place to dine and unique items on the menu. It is not inexpensive, but for what you get, I believe it is priced right. Thanks Parc Bistro for a high quality place to dine!”

“Review for Brunch only. The selection of food, quality of each dish, service and friendliness of the chef were impeccable. Nothing bad here at all. The meal felt exceptionally relaxed. The servers were attentive without being overbearing (a hard balance which was perfectly executed). The sizes of each dish were perfect for allowing a taste of everything. The staff were proactive in making sure every option was always available. The chef in the kitchen was great explaining it each of the roast dishes available and was very friendly. The quality of the coffee is a good way to judge a brunch, and the coffee was great. An exceptional experience. Note: Review does not apply to afternoon tea (my experience of afternoon tea here over a decade ago was poor, I still have yet to find a place outside of the UK that can provide even an average afternoon tea).”

“We tried *Foie gras French onion soup with duck confit *Beet pickled deviled eggs *Pumkin black truffle beignets with apple butter miso aioli *Steamed mussels *Wagyu beef tartar *Ten day dry aged duck *dessert *cocktails Food was great except really overcooked dry aged duck but I will try it again next time. Atmosphere was good and food was great with well balanced seasoning. Our server was very nice and tried her best. The manager worked very professionally when our main course took too long after eating all other dishes and came out overcooked. It was a special night to celebrate a special day but it was not ruined because the manager even though I couldn’t eat their signature dish duck. He was very polite and gentle. I appreciate it. Everything was very tasty!”

“This restaurant was everything and more. Me and my mom have been looking for a good French restaurant for a while and stumbled upon this restaurant searching google. The food was amazing, we had the French onion soup and it was delicious, next we chose escargot for our appetizer and to say it was anything short of delicious would be an understatement, I had the half rack of lamb and she had the beef with potatoes and it was so soft and tasty, and for dessert she had the French cream cake and I had the key lime cake oh my god was it so good. The ice tea was fresh and the coffee was freshly brewed. I had to make another dinner reservation for the end of the month because the food was that good.”

“It’s impossible to overstate the level of culinary excellence and the quality of service at River Twice. We were impressed from the start with the minimalist and refined dining room, which is relaxed for high-end dining and features a prominent open kitchen. The food itself is inventive, deeply satisfying and sequenced perfectly - the presentation is also truly artistic. The wait staff are kind and highly-trained. This is a south Philly gem perfect for any special occasion.”

Ginger Restaurant

“Came here with my sisters, after seeing it had recently opened up. The food was incredible: we had the seafood toast, the burger, the beef cheeks, the julienne and the chicken crepes. Everything was DELICIOUS, and after we had dessert too. The cheesecake, brownie, and the tangerine were incredible. Best of all, the service was outstanding. The chef came out personally to ask how everything was, and they even gave three complimentary dishes. Overall, the vibes, decor, service, and food are 11/10!!!”

“The best steak I've had in a long time. The meals were top of the line from the shrimp appetizers all the way to the main meal and dessert. The seasoning and taste of everything we had was delicious. Best creme brulee I have had this far. Cinnamon sugar ice cream yum. The honey butter and rolls so fresh and good. If you're wanting to have the royal treatment and sit down in a nice restaurant with great service I highly recommend the final cut steakhouse at Hollywood casino. Yes it's pricey but so worth a treat or special occasion. 😊”
