“This was great here! They make special cordon bleu which you can fill with things you would like! Great idea. They have two sizes, the bigger one is really big so decide wisely and if you don't eat it completely, you can take it home which I highly recommend. They have a lovely garden/terasse and many seats also inside. Be sure to reserve a seat before you go. The staff is really helpful and the toilets even have a diaper change place. The prices are fair. Homemade food with swiss meat. Highly recommend.”

“At 11:00 am on a weekday, i wanted to stop quickly for a coffee, my baby had finally fell asleep and i could enjoy 10min sitting calm. I was rushed out with the excuse that the tables were all booked for lunch and even a coffee was out of question (?!) they wanted me to go to an other area but the stones on the floor would have woken up my baby. Too bad they are so rigid.”

“I am not sure how to begin this review. Amazing restaurant. The food is great, the service is impeccable. One example: We sat down outside and it started raining, immediately we had the opportunity to move inside. When it stopped we moved our again. The staff was incredibly helpful. Now, the food. Have you ever heard anything about the food not being nice in Switzerland? Well, the fried fish was way better than the one I had in many other see locations. The soup was tasty. The tartare was excellent. The coffee was good and their liquor selection too. Also, the location is wonderful: very quiet and next to the river: it's nice to enjoy a walk before or after dinner. I will definitely go back.”

“Walked a few times by, looks and feel of the restaurant would fit to me, menu card as well. Let's try. The service employees were really happy, warm and welcoming even on a busy evening. They have -for a restaurant- a massive choice of bottled beer, great! Ordered a bottled Uszit beer, and I was asked if I would like to have a glass to drink, perfect! Dislike it when i'm at a restaurant and have to drink directly from the bottle. We ordered a vegetarian burger and a pulled pork burger. Which are served quickly. You can choose for salad or baby potatoes with quark on the side. In my opinion the portion was not that big and the taste of the burger and the bun nothing that special. Presentation of the food, was great!”

“I discovered this place by chance, when I was returning from a book store, nearby. It is located near the station, in a dead end street. I arrived at 1.10 pm, the girl who welcomed me had to ask if I could still eat: it wasn't that late. I assured her that I would eat quickly: in fact, at 2.02 pm I was already in my train and the other customers, before of me, still there. The customers all sat in the garden, which could be made more welcoming, with flower plants. There were 2 menu choices, meat or fish, simple, tasteful. The wine was excellent quality, quick service, without many frills. I will come back when I have more time to get a better idea”

“It is a great restaurant with nice food. Staff seemed slightly irritated that I neither ate meat nor drank alcohol. Well, I guess it's a small town where this kind of lifestyle is even less common. What I don't understand is that - while they have an extensive wine list - they only offer the most basic non-alcoholic drinks, like water, cola and the other usual subjects. I was surprised that they didn't have higher-quality fruit juices. That didn't match the ambition they have food-wise. Thus, it was good, but not a great experience.”
