“There’s no better place to celebrate a milestone, the Brentwood really makes you feel special! from signs and confetti on the table to staff coming over to wish you a happy birthday or happy anniversary.. this used to just be our special occasion go to but after having so much fun with Annette as our server, and meeting Chef Steve, we are eager to return just for happy hour! The food is everything you’d hope for from a French restaurant and their cocktails rock. Had the most amazing chocolate soufflé for desert with sauces to make your mouth water. 10/10.”

“Superb dinner, wine paring and service. Went here for our 5 year anniversary and it was fantastic. Went with the prix fixe menu with 2nd tier wine pairing. Was blown away by both. Highly recommend the Charleston Grill. Service was excellent as two servers are assigned to each table. Somm brought of slew of great and interesting wines. Dishes were divine.”

“Great tasting menu experience! The ambiance and service here are top-notch. The views of the kitchen provide a unique experience that you generally do not get to see. It’s a very intimate dining experience that allows you to converse with each other and the others around you. The flavors are southern in nature but elevated. The seafood courses stood out as expected. We had some great wine pairings and service from the staff and the manager. To see the setup after each course is a well-orchestrated show to get to experience.”

“WOW is the best word to describe our very first experience dining at The Library Restaurant!! It truly is a dining experience, as some of the food is prepared table-side. Senatra made our experience so special. We felt like we were at a good friend’s house & they were making us dinner. She loves what she does and it shows! The food was delicious, too. Some of the food items we would recommend are the Caesar salad, the Steak Diane, the Duck L’Orange, the Chicken with artichokes & mushrooms and the Bananas Foster. This was by far one of our most favorite dining experiences in Myrtle Beach ever and we’ve been vacationing here for almost 15 years. We will definitely return next year.”

“I think most people will like the food here. For my wife and I, we just were not blown away. Everything we ordered just seemed to be underseasoned. All I can think of is they are tailoring the food to an older customer who may not like salt, butter, wine,garlic,etc.. I don't think this is classified as a French restaurant But it seems to have some inspiration in some of their dishes. Fine French food has a very deep flavor profile with A very pleasing presentation. Sometimes chefs over present to compensate for lack of flavor Or food quality. The location and ambience of the restaurant is fantastic overlooking the water and boats. Would definitely go back for drinks and maybe try it again with Just an appetizer.”

“This place is so cute! Our waiter was attentive and quick. Our food came out super quickly. I had the Ocean Salad. It was pretty good, but wasn’t blown away. Also had a peach pecan pastry that again was pretty good. I think I’ll enjoy the lunch and brunch food better, so looking forward to trying this place again. I’m also looking forward to when the weather is nice enough to be at their outdoor seating. A downfall right now is parking is limited. And, it did get pretty loud inside. All in all, would try again.”
