“During my visit to the Fritomania, I found the prices to be reasonable, although although when adding fries and drink makes your ordinary burger in the $15 range. The cash-only policy can be quite a hassle. The burgers were unfortunately below average, lacking in taste compared to other options available in Ottawa. On the positive side, the fries were passable, adding a modest redeeming factor to the overall experience.”

“We had a great family lunch today at this cosy little family restaurant. Our server was very attentive, warm and welcoming, the food was above expectations. The place looks like an art gallery so 5 stars for the atmosphere. All of our little quirks found a proper and accommodating response from the staff. I loved the steak with the lobster tail add-on. The desserts were made from scratch on spot and were pretty good. And something I would add as feedback (and this is typical to lots of North America based joints that lack the European espresso culture, I know this is minuscule but still) I ordered a double espresso and got a Lungo. The server was so nice I didn't say anything cause it was a perfect lunch and we all had such a great time. The owner (Bill's son) a guys in his 60s came around a few times and checked if everything is ok, which made us fell important. I would definitely come again, it was a great choice -next time we'll go for the Lobster risotto :)”

“Me and my fiancé had the 5 course menu and it was hands down the best meal we’ve ever had. Every dish tasted absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. It was hard to pick my favorite dish but I would have to say the duck and the scallops were the highlight of the night for me. We will definitely be back here!”

“Visited tonight with our corporate group of 20+, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dinner! We landed at this spot for dinner because they were surprisingly one of few restaurants that would accept a reservation of 20+ people on a Wednesday night. The food was delicious, portions were good, drinks were made well, and service was prompt. (Only downfall is that they have limited vegetarian options) Their salmon entree is a MUST-TRY! Had we not come here for tonight’s dinner, we likely wouldn’t have tried found this place… but I’d definitely recommend it!”

“delicious and creative dishes! The tomato appetizer transported me to Italy, it was delicious! Also ordered the scallops and the rib steak, both very tasty and unique flavours. The atmosphere was very quaint, traditional stone building, we felt that we were in Europe. We will be back next time we’re in Ottawa!”

“Went here for brunch and it was chef's kiss! Croissant is amazing, daily soup (squash + peanut butter) is so good! I had eggs benedict and my boyfriend had social breakfast, it was 10/10! We were the first one on the place so it was quiet. Very fancy, too! Definitely worth a try!”
