“This is a wonderful place. The food is top notch for sure. I've eaten most of the menu and rarely been even a little disappointed. Im not even a fan of wine but their sangria is amazing.”

“So wanted to try new restaurants in Sherman Oaks since we now live here. This place is about a 21/2 star place in my one and only time eating their food. Would I go back, probably not, but might if friends wanted to go. Cobb salad wouldn’t have been so bad if they would not pre prepared it the morning of or maybe day before. Eating congeal, bacon, fat isn’t what I want on my salad. At 65 I could have had a heart attack if I ate that. So I heated to warm then used paper towel to blot off the oil. VERY GROSS!”

“Kali, is definitely one of the Michelin restaurant you should try. The food was unbelievable amazing, and surprisingly, not very expensive. very affordable Michelin star restaurant. I will definitely go back again. The staff were so nice and friendly. Even we met the owner, chef Kevin. he was very cool, down to earth and friendly with us, the mussel in Crowded Beach was one of the best mussel I’ve ever had before, even we ordered extra more. I would definitely go back again just to try that dish. Also dessert was one of the best delicious dishes that night, we had a very good time there!”

“The starters were a disappointment. We ordered a pork belly and a salmon tartare. One of the 3 pieces of pork belly was literally just a piece of fat with no meat at all. Very fatty and greasy, which you would expect of a pork belly, but everything has limits. And then the sauce and that toast - the dish all together had a fast-food taste profile. Do not recommend. The salmon tartare tasted just like lemon and pretty much no other flavor to it. Very plain, not interesting. Absolutely not worth the calorie budget and the money budget too. Game meats, on the other hand, were a pure delight! We ordered a trio plus the quail and a duck breast - everything was just great👌 Elk was tender and delicious, rabbit was flavorful, bison was very bright, and quail... well, that's just a quail, can't expect much from it, but it was good. And I liked the duck breast cooked to perfection with the sweet notes from dark cherries. All meats came with great matching sides - just really good! So if you like me don't like to put mediocre food inside of your body, my good advice to you is skip the starters and go straight to main courses. That's what's worth it! ❤️ I will be back for that game trio for sure!”

“French restaurant with a fun bar attached. I recommend going to the bar for drinks - always full, good music and great vibes. The restaurant is nice, mostly French dishes. We enjoyed the burger and the cheese plate. Oysters were very fresh. However the escargots and the mussels lacked flavor. For dessert, the crema brûlée is the way to go. Prices are high. Service was quick, reservations recommended.”

“Came here for my birthday with my husband, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the peppercorn ribeye steak with shoestring fries. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender and the sauce was spot on. My husband had the lamb shank with couscous and he loved it. Great wine pour too. Thumbs up!!!!”

“This place is SO charming right along with its owner Francois! The food is INCREDIBLE and you’ll have trouble putting the fork 🍴 down! Trevor and the rest of the staff we encountered were super helpful and kind. They used to make you order from a QR code but they are offering “old school service” or that option is still available too! We chose to have a server and enjoyed our conversation, the ambiance, the food 🤤, and Francois is the most precious man ever go support his business! Merci beaucoup! ❤️🥐🇫🇷”

“Highly recommend this rooftop restaurant bar in Santa Monica. The food is delicious. My kids and I had the brunch special. The union soop was really good. The Cesar salad was also good. Highly recommend to get the calamari. These calamari are above and beyond any calamari you have tasted, my kids approve. My son also loves the Kobe beef, and I loved the chicken sandwich. Service was okay. The waitress was lacking attention to the table. The restaurant has laughing sofas, bamboo and rope decorated areas and a great covered patio that lets the sun shine in. It brings a bright and relaxing environment where you can enjoy the food with your friends.”

“French restaurant at the Platform with one of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever had. Came here for dinner prior to catching a show at the nearby Kirk Douglas theater and made a reservation online in advance. Had the tarama to start, which is a light start to the meal. We got the salad classique per our waiter’s recommendation, and really enjoyed the tumeric flavor in the dressing. I had the poulet roti which came atop a bed of grilled veggies and I really enjoyed it. My sister’s scallops were super rich and the table’s favorite. The lamb chops would be the next favorite. The fish is a good option for someone looking for something a bit lighter. Metered street parking available at a further walk or you can park at the garage. Credit cards accepted. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The tables are kind of small so I wouldn’t recommend groups bigger than 4 coming. Definitely get the dessert even if you’re full - the mousse au chocolate is a must-have. The little chocolate pearls on top of the velvety smooth mousse was a perfect combination of textures and it wasn’t too sweet (the ultimate compliment by my parents).”
