“Such a wonderful bistro. We went for a birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed all that was ordered. The atmosphere was cozy and service, attentive, though I will say we did feel a bit rushed toward the end of our meal so the table could be turned over. Still, that minor element wouldn't deter me from returning or recommending.”

“It had been so long since my last visit, maybe 20 years ago. I forgot that the restaurant is still here and how fantastic it is ! Highly recommend! There was a table behind us speaking French - that is an endorsement right ! Highly recommend: vietnamese crepe, crab imperial roll. Shaken beef, pork skewer , clay pot salmon, sea bass in banana leaves !”

“Had dinner with a friend before the theater this week, and it was delightful! Had a lovely tempranillo and the perfect French onion soup: basically a high-end grilled cheese with beef stock. The rabbit in Dijon cream sauce was absolutely perfect and a match for the restaurants I’ve visited in Paris. 🇫🇷”

“I went to Sons & Daughters with my wife for our wedding anniversary. I highly recommend this place and it was good value relative to money spent for the amount of food we had and the incredible wine paring that went with our meals. Everyone was knowledgeable with the ingredients and method used to cook the food. Education and being informed was a part of the overall experience. It’s a cozy restaurants with only 10 tables inside. Felt like I was at a darkened lounge atmosphere wise and the windows facing the street are see through from the inside and reflective on the outside. The flavors of regular ingredients - albeit incredibly fresh - were enhanced exponentially by the chefs. All in all, a great experience provided by the staff and out of this world flavors by the chefs.”

“Lovely french bistro with very friendly staff! We went on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too busy and we were able to get a table almost immediately. I had the special (duck confit egg Benedict) while my partner who has a gluten allergy ordered the omelette. Ordered a tuna tartare to share, that was delicious too. Coffee was great and came with refills too! I would absolutely recommend this place!”

“Served regular pancakes to celiac - even though I ordered gluten-free! Went to this place for lunch because of the good reviews and comprehensive gluten-free menu. I ordered gluten-free pancakes and was served really nice looking ones. I thought they looked too good to be gluten-free, but decided they’re most likely just good at what they’re doing. Crepes and pancakes are the specialties of the place after all. The portion sizes are huge, so I only ate half and then left. Only 10 minutes after leaving, my stomach started cramping, I got nauseous and the chills. The reaction my body always has when served gluten, leaving me a fairly short amount of time to find a toilet. This was a total waste of money and an entire day in San Francisco completely ruined having had to return to my hotel with cramps and pain. Don’t offer gluten-free on your menu if you don’t know how to manage it properly and not mess around with people’s health.”

“Low-key and homey, even down to the dinner plates. Very fresh. Scallops were the highlight of the meal. Cod was fresh but somewhat bland. Tomatoe salad was refreshing. As for the chicken liver appetizer, I've had much better in many other places. Attentive service.”

“One word: Exquisite. Both savory and dessert soufflés were absolutely delicious! We ordered the shiitake, basil, and garlic soufflé to share, plus the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Each were perfect! Make sure you call ahead for reservations and be prepared to enjoy!”
