“Oh my goodness! Bridges set a high bar for service and experience! We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant… but being a last minute decision…they were booked but had the Chef’s Dinner open. We said yes and it was by far our best decision! Sitting in the kitchen with the hotel courtyard to our backs made the experience even better! Chef and or his staff explained every dish as served and the Sommelier talked about each wine with each course. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish as they were all over the top! But definitely a place we want to visit again. Date of visit September 2022”

“Everything about this restaurant is special including Food, ambience and service. One of the best experiences of my life. It’s Michelin star restaurant where they have mastered the art of service. They are not always around you to make you uncomfortable, but always there when you need them. Chef is doing everything perfectly. Pigeon and oysters were my favourite. Do try this if you want to treat yourself nicely.”

“Nice ambience, but unfortunately the food itself was nothing to write home about and rather bland. It wasn't bad, but not great either, just average. Also I got a steak medium rare and my mum got hers well done. For some reason her piece of steak was thicker than mine. The steak itself was quite tasty, but cold. Steak tartare was extremely bland. Fries were average, salad was good though. The portions weren't great either, I got three pieces of meat for my main course steak dish.”

“Beautiful terrace only issue is you keep hearing the sounds of the cleaning of the ten Kate market which can be super annoying. The food was great we had the sea food platter which was awesome. It had prawns muscles lobster and more. We recommend the buratta as well. The fish was so so and I wouldn't personally order it again. Overall great food and service. I bet the ambiance is better inside during the winter time.”

“Very interesting venue, it seems to be some sort of old bank. There is a table downstairs in a very private and bank themed setting, suitable for groups of 10 to 12 people. The food was good, but not outstanding. Wide and good selection of wines. If you come during a cold day, make sure to bring warm clothes as quite chilly inside. A more courteous approach to inform me of the mistake would have been appreciated. The setting was cramped. Overall, food was great but this is my second and last time at this restaurant.”

“What a meal! This 6 course menu (which was closer to 9 with all the little extra bits) was a very exciting experience. There were some ingredients I knew I didn't like but when confronted with them here they tasted delicious and I saw them in a whole new light. The service is very attentive and the cocktails were amazing! Honestly can not thank the team enough for the fantastic night. A heads up though the menu can run almost 3 hours.”

We had the baratta, the chicken, the steak and the pork, and tried the white chocolate dessert, the creme brulee and the chocolate raspberry tart.
