“I used Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery as my parents had already bought a plot in the cemetery years ago. My Mom had to be transported to Md from California and it was handled very well. The funeral Directors were very helpful answering all my questions and handled the paperwork in an expedient manner. Prices were also reasonable. The Funeral Home also had a Minister to preside over my Mom’s graveside service and he did a great job. He patiently waited for one last guest to arrive which made the service start about 10-15 minutes late. The Cemetery administration were also quite helpful and able to make the process less stressful. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect, kindness and compassion. Particularly because I was making arrangements long distance. I also appreciate their follow up with the family about a week after the service.”

“***** Thank you to the front desk, Susan and Charisma for making my decision very easy, to NOT move there. *** I was considering East Mark until I went to visit their recreation center. The service was terrible. After 15 minutes of sitting with my husband discussing the options, Charisma came to tell me that we had overstayed and had to leave. I told her that her coworker had allowed us to stay a little longer, to which she responded, “She asked me to come and tell you.” Spoke to some residents and they said “Welcome to East Mark, we have to deal with this all the time. Their service is terrible.” Charisma even said that in their three years there, we had stayed the longest. Thank you for making my decision very easy, to NOT move there.”

“The grounds are lovely, in a tranquil park-like setting. It is set back from the main roads so you don't hear traffic but it's close enough to Rock Creek Trail and local parks that it doesn't feel desolate. We worked with Amelia Haeger at Parklawn and she made a very difficult time easier. She is unfailingly professional and empathetic. She does everything in her power to make the process run smoothly. (Amelia's colleagues, from the office manager to the groundskeepers were also very gracious.) There were significant delays in the monuments being produced and delivered due to supply chain problems. While we were not happy about the delays, we understood that it was truly out of their control. Amelia gave us updates as they were available. We were finally able to hold a ceremony for my Mom and Amelia did a lovely job hosting. Amelia met with me after the service to make sure we were doing well. She was very thorough in explaining visiting hours, placing flowers and holiday decorations, and how to reach the staff for assistance. It sounds like some other folks had issues with their counselors but we definitely did not. Amelia was wonderful to work with.”

It's a small site with a generous parking lot, open area, nature trail, and historic home. The park ground are open daily but be sure to verify the house is open before you arrive. They are closed some days so you won't be able to enter or get your park stamp.”

“Took my daughter’s husky to Sky Canyon for shots during their Saturday clinic and inquired about flea protection, heart worm testing and an allergy shot because he has sensitive skin. I was impressed by how nice and efficient the front desk ladies are. There was a bit of a line but we got through fast and were told it was going to be a bit of a wait to be seen by the technician, but less than half an hour later, Zion was called in. The tech was very personable and attentive to Zion. We felt we were in good hands. Sky Canyon is offering a valuable service to the community by providing the shot clinic. It was a wonderful experience. I made a returning appointment to see the doctor for flea prevention and to address Zion’s skin condition. I would definitely recommend Sky Canyon to anyone that needs Vet services.”

“This site is not the most friendly for larger vehicles. Space is limited between the sites. Legally you cannot open your slides and have stairs functional with a 30+ ft fifth wheel. They make you sign a piece of paper that covers L.A. County Code about 6 ft needed between slides and your neighbors rig. This site is more than 90 percent full timers. Sites set up with tents for welding or weight lifting.. People have regular washer and dryers outside of their rig. There are a number of vehicles covered in dirt, leaves and spider webs and this was not Halloween decorations. On checking in staff were not happy about having a 5th wheel and not being able to fit my truck in the spot. I was told upon reserving the spot more than 3 weeks prior, I would have to park out front. We stayed 3 nights and were in and out many times visiting family. On the third night, the security guard then decided to inquire what I was doing there. INCONSISTENT security patrol wanted to go all Barney Fife on me. After informing him of my space, I walked away to hear him with more attitude. I WILL NOT be staying here again. I will drive 40 min and pay less with more room than to stay at this hole of a park.”

Right off the freeway Full hookups Concrete slabs Secure and safe Close to gas and stores We were visiting family and stayed for 2 weeks cheaper than paying the daily fee. Clean park, friendly staff. It was an old golf course and was turned into a Rv park. There are full time residents here but they keep everything orderly. This area is generally more pricey so expect that.”

I knew this was the place without a doubt.I set up an appointment and was greeted by Rebecca, she was kind, knowledgeable and guided us through the process. When my husband’s urn was ready for pick up we were greeted by Richard. Richard made us feel at ease and comforted us with his warm welcome. “Was looking for a stop and saw the clean bathrooms sign. We really enjoyed the stop it’s a country store plus they have a bunch of animals to see like the parrot who was super friendly and talkative and bunnies, goats, etc. They sold things like Garlic stuffed olives and pickles asparagus as well as fried pies and fried chocolate covered peanuts. It was a random stop but I’m glad we made it.”
