“We drove a fair distance to visit this At Home store, after visiting another At Home in the north east. We liked that store enough to search this location out. So we drove over 100 miles round trip just to visit this store. It was pretty much as expected. It was laid out basically the same as the first store we visited. But this location seemed nowhere near as organized. It was not by any means in disarray. But it wasn't all that well organized either. Anyway, for example, it felt like we had to dig through the piles in the picture section just to see what they were. Again, not every picture selection. But a lot of them seemed like, all different pictures in a stand up pile. It was like that in many store sections. But also is pretty minor. So most folks probably wouldn't even notice it, or think nothing of it. We might not have either if not for the nicer At Home that we visited first. So I am not holding it against them. The store seemed adequately clean. (other than some messy organization issues). They had buckets strategically placed (even having the floor marked with tape for at least one's placement) . So I wonder if they may have a roof that leaks, or a pipe, or something else, that they need catch cans for water. To be fair to At Home, we did just have a large amount of rain associated with a major storm. But I still find this store to be something that I can endure, since I am not a shopper. But I can accompany the wife here and not be overly board, because I can find things that at least get my attention. We did of course have a bunch of things that "just had to come home with us". And here's the real downside of this At Home. There was one register open, with a fairly long line (when we checked out). Maybe it was a bad day, but "THE" cashier, had pretty much zero personality. She just gave us unfriendly looks and said nothing. Well that was until she did utter words to offer us a credit card. Again maybe it was just a bad day. Maybe we somehow annoyed her. Maybe she didn't like our faces. I don't know. I might guess that maybe she's tired of being "THE" cashier, with a long line. Either way, it didn't leave a great impression of unnecessary waiting, only to get a (perceived) unfriendly attitude. Without a doubt, the first At Home in the north east seemed more inviting and organized. But this At Home would probably seemed much nicer, had we not experienced the other location first. But it wasn't drastically bad either. Will it be enticing enough for us to drive over 100 miles to shop here again? Maybe, maybe not. We'll see. But I can see us visiting again, probably more down the road.”

“My wife and I work for a FAANG company and had just relocated to the area due to work. We were interested in spending a pretty decent amount of money to replace most of the furniture in our home. Donald came to offer his assistance and was an excellent help. He allowed us to freely continue browsing, until we were ready for him. While browsing, the floor manager (I think) walked up to us, asking what we were doing and what we were looking for. After talking for a moment, my wife asked if there was free delivery, in which the lady lied and responded that no furniture stores do free delivery, and if tgey due then theres probably a catch. I have my own truck and trailer, so I told my wife we could just pick it up with that. The lady then starts to get snotty and condescending, "if you bring your own, we will not help you, bring your own helpers. Also, if anything enters your trailer, I will not take it back if you find any damages." We instantly left the store due to her attitude. There was nothing wrong with what she was trying to say, but the way she delivered it was extremely rude. I do not recommend this place.”

“My experience with Berk's was smooth and without stress. The salespeople were helpful and affable, listening to my needs and took into consideration my financial limitations. I wasn't sure of what I needed, so I didn't commit to anything on the first visit. However, I did have questions and David was very quick to reply to my queries via Email (my preferred means of communication,) and before I knew it, any anxiety I had about "what I should buy," was gone and I had a new beautiful chair sitting in my home. The delivery people were prompt, worked efficiently and were on their way in a matter of minutes. I don't exactly enjoy shopping for furniture, but this experience was virtually "painless" and I would buy from this family business again.”

“Was greeted quickly by Laura, she directed us to the furniture we wanted to look at. We were never followed, spied on or felt rushed. Laura showed us a few different options in recliners and basement furniture. After roughly 45 minutes we made a purchase, again never felt like another number. All in store was perfect and she kept us informed on status of order. When delivery was set up for half the order it went ok, I thought the delivery guys would respect other peoples homes, the first guy never took off boots and brought in on basement carpet unwanted mush and mud, I put down a blanket to try to help prevent more of a mess to clean up, when they brought in couch the first guy pulled blanket with boots and 2nd guy walked right in and on carpet. To me it was not a huge deal as it was quickly cleaned up when they left, but if you have other than tile in basement or house take precautions. Second delivery was same as was on time and they carried recliners up steps to main living room, never took off boots of placed booties on them, thankful we have wood floors and was mopped up after they left. I give main store 100%, I give delivery people a heads up to remove your dirty boots before you walk into peoples homes. We are very happy with purchase and professionalism from Laura. Many years to enjoy.”

“I came in two weeks before my due date to find a rocker for our nursery & Ajay was phenomenal! It took a couple of visits, but Ajay helped me find the perfect chair that met every single one of my needs. He was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I know working with a heavily pregnant lady couldn't have been easy, but he knocked it out of the park. It was hard for me to walk around, so I was really dreading shopping for a chair, especially getting up & down so many times, but he made the entire process very enjoyable. We laughed a lot. Not once did I feel pressured into looking at certain ones, to make a quick decision, or to exceed my budget. He was very mindful of my deadline & did a wonderful job of quickly checking & gently making sure I knew if a chair had a delivery date that was too far out for my need. In the end it worked out perfectly & I have the perfect rocker for my little one. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of displays they had available for me to try, & the quality, but it was definitely the service that will make me come back. I repeated that it is leaking water on my floor right now and rather rudely told, well that's our first available date. Now I'm rethinking where to shop in the future.”
