Immediately we were greeted by a salesguy named Brady, who had the most chill vibe ever. He happily explained how their pricing worked, how we could apply for financing if we chose, and then he LEFT US ALONE! That's right! We were able to walk around and look at furniture without someone breathing down our necks!! It was such a relaxed and enjoyable experience! When we did have a question, Brady was right there to answer but was never pushy. As we made our purchase, he explained our options of delivery or pick up and made sure to get all of our information so he could call us when ready. One week later and sure enough Brady called as he promised he would! Our furniture was ready and is now in our home. Quick. Easy. PERFECT!! We will absolutely return and buy more at this store. Prices were so reasonable and Brady treated us as if we were his own family members. It was remarkable! Thanks again, Brady! You are amazing!!”

A very wide selection like: fiesta dishes, uranium glass dishes, comics, jewelry, paintings, fishing supplies, Games, clothing, furniture/mirrors, plus more. it’s floors sound very squeaky but are completely safe. there’s three floors ( 1st, 2nd, & basement) and no available elevator to the public it seems * I include a photo *. It’s a very nice place to skim through and spend some time at. Personally, I’d deem this place as not handicap accessible.”

“There’s no design that crate and barrel is set up lovely. The store was decorated for the holiday season. Staff was abundant, which was nice. And although they were fully stocked, during holiday time, you do expect some sales, there were none on anything worthwhile, I went there for something specific, and was able to get that. it was extremely overpriced but it was what was requested. It still bothers me. It was about 50% more than it should’ve been. Regardless, I did put the item in my car after purchasing it and wandered around to see if there was anything else I was interested in. I’m very much in need of a sofa and furnishings. I went and looked and sat on every sofa they had. They’re displays were beautiful, but comfort is extremely lacking. Unfortunately, I can’t hold that against the store because they don’t manufacture they just sell. But it would be really wonderful to have a super comfortable sofa on display. All the display areas were gorgeous. I know a lot of people by there and don’t mind spending gobs of money because then they can say they bought it at Crate & Barrel. One of my most negative experiences with crate, and barrel is a set of dishes that were far over priced. They were a little rustic and white/ivory with a black rim around them. That rim did not hold up the dishes look awful old and used for like a dozen years or more. Crate and barrel is aware of this and yet they still sell them and I’ve done nothing for all of the people with complaints about this . This is a serious flaw and I feel that they need to address it ASAP.”

“I recently bought a furniture set from Moore's. Everything was great for about two hours after we got the mattress on the bed, but the bed soon broke on the top left and bottom right. I was unhappy and emailed Moore's. Once they got the email the next morning, they contacted me immediately and repaired the issue the same day. Unfortunately, a few days later, the bed broke on the top right side. Again, I emailed them, all frustrated. So once more, as soon as they got the email, they reached out. They offered me a couple of options, and I said that I just wanted the bed to be taken away. No issues or arguments- they came out the same day to get the bed out and let me know the refund for it would arrive in about two weeks. We did keep the bedside tables, chest, and dresser w/mirror, though, as those had no problem. In the end, I ordered a metal platform off of Amazon as well as a fabric headboard since I'd be hard pressed to find wood that matched exactly. The moral of the story isn't that Moore's sells bad furniture or not to buy from them; quite the opposite actually. I hope that, from my story, you're able to see how proficiently and professionally Moore's handled a bad situation that was beyond their control. While I'd usually consider myself relatively easy to deal with, I did not present my best face with Moore's, yet they never responded negatively, only with helpfulness and expedience. I would absolutely recommend Moore's, and the remaining furniture that I have is simply lovely. If you have an issue, Moore's will take care of you, plain and simple.”

“Best place in Altona to buy good quality furniture. Most of the stores in town sell poor quality new stuff. This place focuses on used and even antique quality items at a fair price. Some of the stuff needs some TLC, but older stuff has unique craftsmanship making that work worthwhile. It's a small shop, but it is packed full. You don't always find what you need, but it's always interesting to browse. There isn't a lot of parking, and I've needed to park next door at times.”
