They have signs saying people will be prosecuted for stealing donations that are outside... which made us think we can therefore leave it just outside the shop. A lady came out telling us we are illegally dumping and to come back another time. You won't see us again. We tried doing the right thing, isn't it your job to go through donations and judge what can be reused? Completely disgused with the staff and treatment.”

“Woolworth Palmyra or if you like Stammers supermarket has had a big upgrade for its customers. The first thing is easy parking in all 3 areas. The bays are big and plentiful. With the store being on the corner of Canning Hwy and Petra Street there are 5 entries in total with underground parking via Anthony Street. An entry via Canning Hwy, 2 on Petra Street, 2 on Hammad Street with 1 giving access to upper level parking. The store is modern and well layer out. It's clean and well stocked. Stammers Tearooms is opposite the checkouts were a welcoming hot drink or food makes shopping at Stammers/Woolworth a great experience.”

“Would rate this place as a zero. We are a well respected flight school needing desks for flight simulators for trainee pilots. Ordered a desk, which was supposed to be quick delivery, and nearly 2 weeks later, we were still waiting with the receptionists saying "we are busy can't help you". Finally got possession of the desk but it came with missing parts, when we went to ask about getting the parts, we were refused service saying that it wasn't needed, even though the cross beam was clearly shown on the instructions, and due to the size and weight of the desk, it would bow without it. We were called troublemaking customers, swore at and banned from the store when enquiring about being given the parts or refund of the desk. Were told we would only receive a refund if desk was in original condition, even though it is literally missing parts... do not shop here. Would also like to add, a friend had ordered the same desk and received the cross beam and chrome dividers in his order without having to pay extra. He was the one who recommended. Not sure how it's needed for one desk, but not for another? Also, have the exchange caught on film if they try to deny this happened or that they didn't say certain things.”

“Will not meet obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Product: SPARTACUS - Corner Lounge Purchased corner lounge, within a very short time the footrest mechanism bent. It was repaired... eventually. Since that time, the same footrest mechanism bent again, along with the 2 other footrests. The foam is no longer where it should be, and there is a spring sticking out the bottom of one of the couches. Requested a refund under the Consumer Guarantees as it is obviously a major problem with the product. Amart will no longer acknowledge my emails. Edit: Eventually they did refund the purchase price. I had to keep fighting and escalating to higher managers. It took months, and multiple poor reviews to get them to listen. They have obviously spent money getting their Trust Pilot rating good. It is worth adding a review there if you want their attention.”

After dropping off an item for repair, it took 1 week, of constant followup to get the item even sent to the repair agent. After asking for follow up calls, they were not forthcoming. After finally getting sent to the repair agent, it has taken exactly the same level of effort to get the item inspected. Process is still ongoing with no known outcome nearly 3 weeks later.”

“Located opposite the big new Bunnings, I popped my head into the place on my lunchbreak only to discover it’s freaking huge. There’s furniture, containers, storage and the usual red dot type of things and a WHOLE 2 AISLES for pet toys and accessories not to mention the art and craft aisle is pretty amazing too. Sure you can get the usual stuff at spotlight and riot, but prices seemed reasonable and there was a huge range. Heaps of pots for indoor and outdoor plants at decent prices. Go check it out.”

When I rang the manager I received a whole heap of hostility. There was no attempt to make this right other than giving me a 3 hour window for delivery in another couple of days. Would not recommend shopping here”
