“Another amazing REI store! This is one of the largest REI stores I’ve been in. Super clean, well lit, and great staff. We were driving through town and I wanted to come to the store because I heard that they have a re-supply store next-door. We went into the relist supply store and there’s a lot that you can get there. We also came to the other store, which should be the main store, and check things out there. This is by far one of the largest sorry I said I’ve been to. First off, I wanna let you know that the bathrooms are clean, and well stocked, which is important to me. But this sure has everything that you could think of from backpacks, sleeping bags, stove, bikes, shoes, jackets, snow, equipment, and much more. There’s everything that you could want. It is REI.”

“Their website was inaccurate, and when I called them to get help, the employee put me on hold for five minutes, told me to click on a button that didn't exist on either the website or app, and then said "if that's the angle you want to take on things you can figure it out on your own." Lost a local, long-time customer- we will look for another local wine store. Total Wine and More on Colorado has a better selection anyway.”

“This hot pastrami from the outside BBQ is the best pastrami I've had in a long time! I didn't get strings of meat hanging from my lips after I took a bite 😂 I took a bite, the pastrami bit right off, it was tender and delicious 😋 I'd highly recommend this and also the beef brisket sandwich was also tender and good. The BBQ sauce wasn't too sweet but had a nice tangy flavor.”

“Customer service is fantastic (that's why the 3 stars). Always friendly and helpful. However, this store does a inadequate job of stocking items they say they carry. On many occasions, I am looking for an item and they are either out of stock or only one left when I need more than one item. Also, don't believe their web site for the store. When it says on the web site, 1 or 2 items left, you go to the store, and they have been out of that item for a while. Very frustrating. It is worth traveling a few extra miles to Home Depot. I have never found Home Depot to be out of stock of an item, especially when they say they have it on their web site. This store needs to step up their inventory processes. I asked a clerk about this issue, and they said, it's just their system. I don't blame the people that work there (like I said, they are fantastic and work with what they have been given or told), it's either their management and/or Tractor Supply policies on restocking and keeping their web site current.”

No shopping carts available...I went back to the lot to get one. Did my shopping... carts still out. But in the lot there are many. This store does not care if you shop there. No carts. No way to do a price check to see if the item is on sale. Lot littered with the missing carts. Another update - added new picture of the empty cart area. This store can't even get the basics right like a cart for a customer. Update 102923... carts always out, self checkout all down, 1 cashier... no one cares.”

“I really like this store, but my last experience changed it all. I was shopping and picking up items for my cart. When I was called to check out, the clerk asked if someone helped me or did I pick up the items myself. I told him that I was shopping and collecting everything on my own. He then stated that there was a process to this and that some of the items that I picked were for floor viewing, not for sale, and I needed to have someone get those items from the stock room. I told him that those items were simply on the floor with price tags and there weren’t any labels stating that they were floor samples. So he went to the back and brought up two new boxes that clearly needed to be installed. I told him that I didn’t want them if I had to install them. He asked me again and also asked if I could put them together. I said that normally I could, but that I didn’t have the time. He then insults me by saying that it was ok and “everyone has different skill levels”. Not sure what my skill level has to do with not having time to setup two pieces of furniture. This was Christmas Eve and I was prepping for dinner. Anyway, this was my experience. I did purchase other items, but not sure if I would go back to this location again.”

“I recently went into this REI to see about returning some boots that I used a total of 13 days over 6 weeks and had already began to wear significantly. I used my 45 minute lunch break to drive down there to run this errand and was greeted by a rather rude and unfriendly employee at the cashier. This person immediately began to profile me, making assumptions of how I used them and began to tell me that I “incorrectly used the hiking boots.” I hiked in them!?! I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do with hiking boots? I was so thoroughly shocked by this person’s gross misjudgment of me, their accusations, and their aggressive tone that I simply stood there and kept saying “okay” not sure what else to do. After accusing me of using these shoes improperly, they then refused to accept my return request. I have for sure returned items to REI, this is true. However, I have been a loyal member for a very long time because they have a gracious return policy and I have always turned to REI over the years having spent thousands of dollars in gear and clothing, completely outweighing the amount I have ever returned. I am an Outdoor Educator and go through gear faster than a typical person who purchases gear for recreation. I have also depended on REI as a director of an Outdoor Education program to purchase all of our program gear. While I absolutely love my job, I also don’t get paid very much so spending my money at REI is a choice that usually I am happy to make because of how typically wonderful they are. Though this experience I had with this particular employee at the REI store in Dublin, CA I feel has absolutely changed my perspective on REI. I’m not one to make many google reviews, but this instance really upset me. I don’t find this store to be particularly helpful whatsoever and would argue other stores in the Bay Area are likely more professional and have staff that is more eager to help you out.”
