“Now I am not one to rant as I try to keep it happy and light however this is bad!!!! TRACTOR SUPPLY OLATHE KS gave us the worst experience of our lives today. We went to set up our vending stand which had been approved and given the OK when we showed up. Once our entire set up was up and ready which takes about 2 hours from packing car to setting up tables. I just finished setting up the new manager came out and told me I had to move ; my husband had just left to get breakfast for us. I said I just finished setting up and that I was given the OK to be there. He continued to get ruder and told me I had to move because those spots were for customers....which I am where did I get the jars and canning supplies, my chickens their coup food the list goes on. My husband was actually planning to shop there today. Loren was gone when the man came to tell me I had to move and so he went in to speak with the manager who was rude. People came to shop our stand while we sadly packed our cars and we had to tell them we were kicked out and so they left. I then went to tell the manager we were leaving and that we had ladies come to shop with us and left after I told her we were kicked out. This is when it gets REALLY BAD and the reason for my post. He then said oh darn I'm so sorry about that while he chuckled at me who was near tears. He said you know what you aren't welcome back so don't come back. This man was not only unprofessional but he was out right mean and a bully. I do not feel people with the positions of power should flaunt that and treat others less than which is exactly what he did to me. He apparently had racist remarks toward my husband who has Hispanic heritage while he was inside to speak with him as well. Needless to say I will not be shopping there again and or promote them as long as management is how it is. Those in management please treat people with respect you never know how damaging your actions can be. This man squashed on my dreams and had no care to realize how important it was that I sell my product being as it was one of the last opportunities this season. This vending stand is my livelihood. I had worked so hard to be able to sell at these places. This GM literally smashed my dreams. Note: last year I vented there and never had a problem. Under different managment”

“I don't usually post reviews on employees, but today is an exception. I went in the Garden Center doors and 2 employees were talking by the doors going into the store. I was not greeted in any way. I found what I wanted without any assistance. I went to the register and heard one employee tell the other that there was a guest. The employee that was working in the Garden Center came over to the register and didn't even acknowledge me with a smile or even verbally. The item I purchased rang up $1 more than the price on the shelves and I asked about it. I was told the price it ringing up is what is on her phone. I suggested that the price on the shelves might need to be corrected. I still made the purchase but her attitude left a lot to be desired. Fortunately I have had good customer service at the Store in KCKS, but if all the staff acted like this one, I wouldn't be returning.”

“Have never been to a Menards before, however they showed online to have some large specialty dimensional lumber we needed for a project. For reference, A local lumber yard here in Texas failed for 4 weeks to procure this wood. I called up to Kansas and a gentlemen in lumber quickly answered, checked the physical stock and it’s condition, then politely explained how Menards purchase process works. We made the 4 hour drive up to Kansas and found Menards to be a very cool place; lots of different items, the amount of in-stock varieties was great, and the staff where pretty helpful. It is hard to put into words how big and clean this store and the outdoor lumber yard are. I was able to quickly purchase my required lumber, hand select it with assistance from a loader, and get back on the road. The only complaint, we don’t have these in Texas and the Kansas sales tax is off the charts!”

“I loved the choices and selection. we love the couch and recliner that we picked out. When they called to set up delivery we were given Wednesday or Friday for delivery. We chose Friday stayed home and waited. After the delivery time had came and gone we called the store. We were told that it was scheduled for next Friday. I told them that was not what was discussed on the initial call. It was crazy because they have openings every other day next week but we were somehow slotted for next Friday.”

“Recently purchased a high end coffee maker. After sleeping on my purchase, realized I paid too much and decided to exchange for a model more within my budget. When I tried to switch it out, they refused to accommodate me. Crate & Barrels return policy is very poor, and because of a lack of a few dollar exchange, they just through away potential future sales. Won’t be doing any more business with Crate & Barrel.”
