“It’s a big thrift store, but it’s cluttered and the merchandising is really horrible. Items organized by type then are just thrown into boxes up and down the isles. Some stuff is just shoved onto shelving. Wide variety of different items, so that’s something. But be prepared to search and dig It looks like it could use a good dust & deep clean all over. The upstairs has books at a good price. They also have the clothing & footwear, purses etc. upstairs . I found the clothing to be dated and out of style. But style is subjective. That’s not to say I haven’t found the occasional score. The items in the showcase are really priced high - especially the native artwork. It was in the hundreds of dollars range - pricing items that high is crazy for a “Thrift” store. It would be better off in a high end resale shop. Anyway on the upside - The security guard who works here is always super nice & friendly. And proceeds go to a variety of charities like Meals on Wheels for one.”

“It was a nice sales experience with Rick, but the "store closing" sale didn't really reflect in the price of the furniture I wanted. Asked when the store was closing, they didn't know. I ordered some furniture, paid half down on good faith, with the balance to be paid on delivery. Then they asked for the balance to be paid two days BEFORE delivery. I refused, wanting to inspect the delivery as ordered and in good order, quite willing to pay ON delivery as I had agreed. They refused, so I cancelled the order.”

“One of the ladies in fragrance was very rude and condescending. I was trying to figure out a gift for my friend and ask some questions hoping she would help me out. But instead she acted like I should know everything about Chanel perfumes…. Isn’t that why you work there…? My boyfriend was also shocked by how she was talking to me. This lady needs some Holiday spirit… or maybe just a lesson on customer service.”

“I had the unfortunate experience of my fridge breaking down a few days ago. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but Kristian Baxter from Trail Appliances sure helped make it much easier for me. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products Trail carries and was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for in record time, at a price point I could afford. He negotiated the best possible deal for me, and I had my new fridge delivered within 3 days. Kristian ensured I had all my ducks in a row by sending me a link to pre qualify for financing etc so that when I went in to sign paperwork, it was a very quick and easy process. Melissa was part of the financial process, and she was super friendly and personable . It was a great experience dealing with both Kristian and Melissa. The day my fridge was delivered, there was a small hiccup as I didn't receive a delivery window time. Unfortunately, I missed the 1st delivery attempt, and I felt terrible about it. I phoned David, the delivery manager, right away and explained what happened. He was incredibly understanding of the situation and agreed to come back at the end of the day. They did, and unfortunately, had to deal with another predicament!! The fridge would not fit through the front door of my building. I did phone our strata management company to ensure that this would not be an issue...but unfortunately there was some miscommunication. Luckily, I was able to remedy the situation with a quick phone call. The delivery guys were super patient, friendly, kind, and efficient. I didn't realize that they weren't able to hook up the water to the fridge. It says right in the pamphlet I was given, but I think I missed it because I was stressed because of my other fridge breaking down. Kristian can recommend a good plumber to install the water hook up. I was impressed with how quickly the plumber got back to me and pleasantly surprised because I didn't give him any notice. He was willing to do it the very next day. In conclusion, if you need a new appliance or a package, I highly recommend talking to Kristian Baxter at Trail Appliances. You won't be disappointed. This guy knows the meaning of true customer service. I will absolutely be going back to him when I need any other new appliances.”
