I proceeded to let the manager know and they didn’t care at all. So I decided to give it another try many years later and they are the same way. They tolerate African Americans because they have too. “This was my first time in a Room and Board store, I had previously only seen the catalogs. I loved every piece in the store as it is a nice mix of modern and contemporary pieces. It was spacious and three floors but includes an escalator. I love how they decorate small and large spaces and show what you can do with their furniture in small spaces to still create warm and inviting environments. I think that I even found a gift for a hard to buy for friend. The employees are welcoming but allow you to browse and are not pushy. They showcase living, dining, bedroom, kids and outdoor furniture including some cool setups on their balconies.”
