“Always a good time at Famoso. Legendary track with plenty of good seating. I attended the Division 7 event as a spectator in early October. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a hot day, so I asked if there was any inside parking available, as its always nice to take a break in the AC when it's as hot as it was. They asked that I just stayed out of the way and didn't block anyone in...lol. I was able to park in the Grove, right behind the bleacher I was sitting in. 👍Nice😀 The racing was great! Tons of cars and dragsters. Bikes too! Take a walk through the pits and ask questions, most will be glad to let you take a look and answer any questions you might have. Just be mindful of where you're standing and don't get in their way. The drag racing community is very family-friendly and a great place to take the kids.”

“This is the only gas station (I know of) that always has a line (or lines) of cars for the pumps. Once you get past the line(s) it's smooth sailing as long as you have a Costco membership card. Or maybe you can ask for a guest pass like you can at the warehouse (I don't know if that would work or not at the gas station). There's no mid-range gasoline or diesel, just regular and super gasoline.”

“Awesome dirt race track action right in your backyard of Antioch, it's a great place to be on Saturday night!! Fun for all in the family. I have been here 30+ times over the years to watch various racing from World of Outlaws, 360 sprints, modified, late models, and more even saw boat trailer racing!!!! Once for World of Outlaws several years ago they went 30 laps straight no cautions here, it was EPIC!!!! During the Contra Costa County fair they have some sort of racing going on too. They have typical snack shack type foods from 2 stands, I always get a chicken strips with fries combo and a nachos, but they also have corn dogs, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, popcorn, sodas, candy, nothing over $6-7. Beers are like $8-9, Sierra Nevada and Corona, plus I think Bud. Good amounts of seating in main grand stands plus some side bleachers closer to the action in turns that sometimes get some mud splatters flying for added fun. They have a gift shop with tshirts and programs with RACEO (bingo) for prizes. Come down and check out the local dirt track racing fun, normally starts about 6:30 PM saturday nights in the summer into october.”

“There are no bathrooms at the gas pumps, maybe edit that. Probably has the best priced gas in Barstow. I have made many trips over the years from San Diego to Vegas or Utah, and every time there are no squeegees available to wash my windshield. Always the same excuse too: “the ‘kids’ steal them.” Stop being so cheap and buy new ones. I believed that excuse the first time, not the next 20+ times.”

“our guide Ryan was incredible!! we took the san Andreas tour 8am in February. the weather was ideal and best to wear light clothes and T shirt. definitely warm enough for little clothes Ryan shared an abundance of information: the rock formations, the 3 mountain ranges that converge, the texture of the ground, the fauna, potato chip plants and palm berries! we learned about the original inhabitants, their day to day lives, customs, clothing etc. bees that made their "nests" in the rocks, the wealthy man whose home remains in the desert.... too much info to recall!! an incredible day, worth every penny (and the 15% tip, wink). so pleased we chose this tour.”

Going up to 3 stars. 150kW shared is too "yesterday". ———— This was my 4th or 5th time charging here at the Culver City Supercharger - I've always encountered a queue. This time I was 3rd. Being in line is not why I dinged 3-stars - what is bothersome is that every time I've found broken stations. There were two broken today. While I charged, the queue grew to 7 deep. I didn't have the heart to stay till I got to 80% - vacated at 56% - as I travel back north I'll charge again at a less busy charger. This entire region is under served - the Santa Monica Supercharger won't be coming too soon.”

“I am not sure why they have low ratings. My personal experience was fine. The BMW X3 car was relatively new, and in good condition. While picking it up, they didn't hard-sell Insurance etc & explained the various options clearly with no pressure to buy anything over & above the basic package. The queuing took a little long, but nothing extraordinary. The drop-off was similarly seamless & I just had to hand them the key. Do note that they have limited opening hours for pick-up / drop-off. For dropping off the car, if all it takes is to put the key in a drop-box, why not make it 24-hours? Overall, I'd rent from them again.”
