“Stunning interiors, absolutely gorgeous rustic village pub. Great parking space and great vibe the minute u walk in. However it's massively overpriced, menu is poor on top main courses sides are extra prices. Service isn't great and for this level of pricing, you would expect something extra. Food portions are tiny. Not a typical pub filling dishes. I was confused whether this was a village pub trying to strive as a pretentious Michelin restaurant. But achieved neither: not a good home cooked meal, definitely not a restaurant level. The owner needs to decide which direction to choose. 3 stars for interiors only. Great for a drink only. I have been to many local pubs and this one was the weakest.”

“I'm sorry to say that so far as value for money is concerned there's a massive NO..... I'd have done better at McDonald's. Two of us fancied a meal at what looked like a good pub eatery. Not living in the area, we didn't know what to expect by way of value for money. My wife wasn't particularly hungry so she ordered a bowl of soup. When it arrived, it was in a tiny jug. The sort of size you'd get milk served in a high class coffee shop. The jug was half full. So she asked for a bit more to top it up. That was £6.50. I ordered sausage and mash. 3 barely cooked sausages, desert spoon of mash, some kind of cabbage, it looked like it had been under a grill because it had burned leaves. The cost of my meal amounted to £14.50.. 1Large coka cola £4.50 I know businesses are under pressure, but this was ridiculous.”

“Delicious ⭐️ Super attentive staff; squeezed us in although it was super busy and we hadn’t booked - seems like it gets packed so best to book in advance. Food was great. They have the option to order smaller portions which is ideal if you’re like me and want a 3 course meal but can’t manage it all! Recommend the squid or pulled pork starters, and the sticky toffee pudding. The American pancakes were basic (shop bought?) Both mains were nice.”

“A really lovely place to spend time. We sat in the gardens which are really well maintained. Almost every person ordered a different dish and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! A lovely surprise to have a giant Connect 4 to entertain the kids for a bit! Loos were clean and well stocked. There is plenty of parking with disabled parking available and there is an accessible route to the gardens which helps too. Highly recommend!”
