“We had read the great reviews on here, when deciding we wanted to try freezone out. Sadly we got met by a very bad service, where the bartender tricked me into buying overpriced drinks, even when it was advertised as a cheaper deal. Even when pointing out it was clear that the drink deal was meant to confuse people, so they could make money on it. I do not recommend this. And the answer under are lacking of taking accountability. None of the “deals” was presented. not even corrected after we pointed it out. We got met by a “you should’ve asked for the special drink” etc. no free drinks etc. Your guests matter. And a “service answer” like this, won’t make up for our experience. But thank you for taking time to respond. Hopefully you’ll take accountability and handle it within your team so it lives up to the comment made. 🤎”

“The tuna melt on rye was excellent and the sweet potato fries are great with the chipotle mayo. Steak is lovely. Service is fast and friendly. Of course we went on a Friday not the weekend. I really love the complimentary brunch bread, too. Most of all, it’s great to support a queer owned business with so much history. Great brunch and lunch spot!”

“Decent show but there are definitely better drag shows in town, though this one is probably the most expensive. Some of the Drag queens were great. But some.. well drag queens in the desert do this thing we've never seen at shows in other cities. They just come out into the audience and collect money from everyone, without doing an actual performance. Some never even step onto the stage, they just get their money, barely lip syncing, and then leave. What?! Also all the other reviews about the slow service, construction ruining the atmosphere, etc., are true. Still a fun experience over all.. But if you want a better show, better atmosphere, better service, and better prices, go to Toucans instead.”

“This was a nice bar with plenty of space. They put on a good show. The bathrooms were great although a little splashed. I loved the open outdoor section. I went on a Sunday so things died down pretty early around 8 pm but all things considered I thought it was good. The main thing that I wasn’t expecting was that it’s male oriented but that was my bad since I didn’t really know the vibe before going. The drag show was fantastic and the staff were kind and helpful !”

“Here’s the deal (in my opinion). You don’t go to drag show brunch for food. You go to be entertained. And these queens are fabulous. The food was perfectly mediocre. Protein was generally over cooked (I had pork chop and meatballs), veg was over cooked and stringy (asparagus). Carbs were pretty good (pasta salad, mashers, Mac and cheese). Dessert was good (banana pudding). Service wasn’t bad. Had to ask for water 4 times and had to wait a bit for drinks. But all of that said, I am 100% coming back. The show was great!! I LOVED the music. And some of the shenanigans were hysterical. And the drinks were STRONG (just the way I like them)! I had the Octopussy (because how could you pass that up) and it was tasty!!!!😂. Nellie’s is also very easy to get to from the metro station.”

Food is a constant rotation of amazing and interesting pop up kitchens (all available on their website to avoid guesswork.) Their events can get kinda busy so I recommend an off hours visit for the first time if it's cold. Spring summer and fall are much easier with the extensive outdoor space.”
