“Pest ban is for the birds. The company has a built in system that comes highly recommended by DR Horton building company. They are horrible. I have a security camera and often they would bill me for service they never came out to render. The ants and spider seems to want to take over my house. Several times I had to call them to send someone to come help exterminate the ants and spiders. Finally after almost two years of bad to worst service I called to cancel my account. With no explanation or alert they came and removed the termite box they bore a hole in my yard to place, leaving several gaping holes on my yard. They did not even have the courtesy to fill the holes with dirt. I do not recommend this company if you want to be treated as a valued customer. I do not recommend this company if you want your house treated for insects. Horrible! Horrible! Just horrible”

“I want to give 0 star if I can. This is what they said install is completed. (Photo attached) I signed contract with Better Earth in February 2023, installation is scheduled on March. The first time the operation team here didn’t have proper tools to install and scheduled for another day. They finished the installation with a missing panel, I have called them multiple times and told them the installation is not completed. The operation manager insists the team finished it and they have the photo in their system. I sent the photo to him and he thought I am lying. I ask him to do a video call so I can show him in the real time if he doesn’t believe me, but he refused to do so. I have to call better Earth everyday to ask them to finish it. In the meantime I am keeping receive invoice from them to pay them. Until August/September time, they finally finished install the last panel. After that I don’t get any update. I called them again this year(2024) and I was told they are waiting for permission for the electric panel upgrade. During the site survey in April 2023, I was told no electric panel upgrade needed. If the electrical panel need to be upgraded, why don’t you just do it at the first palace? The next day after I call them, I got message for electric panel upgrade appointment. It is so funny, they got the permission right after I call them? I am asking for the electric bill reimbursement because the delay of installation. I was told they only do three month after the second payment. (The second payment is after the installation is finished. How can I pay if the installation is not completed?). It is been almost one year and my project is still not finished.”

Their prices were fair and honest. They showed up on time and the moving crews worked hard and efficiently. On the day of my mother's move, we had a terrible storm and it was a cold, hard rain the entire day but I was amazed not only at how hard the Able Moving crew worked, but how they kept their spirits high and were so cheerful throughout the day. It made the day not nearly as bad as I was expecting and they were very careful with keeping my mother's belongings dry and her house mud-free. I was very impressed through both moves with Able Moving and would definitely use them again if we have another move.”

“I have 2 separate (14 panels and 12 panels) existing Sunpower systems already installed in my house and decided to add more panels (9). I went back for the simplicity of using 1 company and I am assuming they will at least take good care of me because of my loyalty to the company. Unfortunately I was mistaken. I have nothing but positive reviews for the sales team but has a bunch of different issues with getting my system going after installation. The communication method with the project coordinator definitely needs some work. At most times you won’t get a response until after two weeks after you send them an email. It is unfortunate that it’s close to impossible to get them on the phone. It took about two months after getting our PTO to get our new system completely going. I was promised that they can combine the 12 panel and the new 9 panel system into one monitoring system. They did do that but it took almost two months of back and forth to get things going. Scheduling a technician to come out is a hit or miss. I get a text to confirm appointment dates and there will be a no show. Other times they will just show unexpectedly. I am recovering from a knee surgery and I informed them to confirm with me about a possible date and technician will just show up unannounced. Also, technicians will come out and flat out inform you that they don’t know what they need to do as they haven’t performed the task of combining two systems into one monitor. Also had an issue where our system wasn’t really working because of a faulty emergency shut off. Also, at times the project coordinator does not really understand what is going even after providing detailed explanation of what is wrong with the system. Technicians will come out thinking they need to perform a specific action unrelated to the issue at hand. I am just relieved that the last technician completely knew what he needed to do to fix all the issues we are having. It was just an overall unpleasant and frustrating experience.”

Southern Energy Management was just better all around from design, permitting, coordinating their different teams with our builder. Yanni also was able to beat all competitors pricing especially the cost of Tesla batteries. We wanted to visit a customer who lives near the coast. After visiting a customer’s solar work nearby to see the quality of their work and speak to an active customer we were sold on Southern Energy. Yanni made modifications to our present design because of the recommendations the customer told us. This was all done at no additional cost. Every team member was a joy to have working in our home. The installers, Brock and Jonah were amazing. They installed as if it were theirs. They reinforced the platform because the weight of 2 batteries seemed a little too much for the present layout. They answered all my questions and even overheard a conversation I had with my wife and fixed something totally unrelated to the solar. That tells me they are hard working, passionate about their work and listen to the homeowner. It is easy for the sales to make a company sound and look good but you’re only as strong as your weakest link. Southern had no weak link. The installers were exemplary in their work. After the install was complete Brock and Jonah both went over how the solar system works and set up the Tesla app. Then they registered my system and reviewed the app with me. I felt afterwards that I understood the app and the functionality of the solar system. I highly recommend Southern Energy for all your solar needs. Steven & Victoria”

My roof is leaking for the second time and was told once I receive a form in 24-48hours and pay a deposit of $150-$20O they will send someone to look at it. Mind you they did an inspection before installing in November 2023 to make sure nothing was damaged or leaking prior. I was told by the sales person that they are not producing because of the cold weather. Lonestar has not been what the reviews reflect for me. Just proceed with caution if you are looking into solar, this may not be the company for you.”
