“Pretty standard cologne german restaurant. Good thing is they are pretty big, they serve Kölsch the traditional way, and they have a pretty good schnitzel and blood sausage. Service was fairly attentive, esp wrt Kölsch refills. Would recommend here to try cologne blood sausage. Caution against the pork knuckle...it's boiled instead of roasted so instead of a crunchy crust you get a hunk of gelatinous pig skin...order at your own risk.”

“I have been driving past this place for years, wondering how it would be. It looks absolutely wonderful from the outside. The outside seating also looks wonderful, but it was raining. We were seated in what looks like the newer area of the building which looks frankly a bit forgotten 70s style. The food was good, but not unforgettable good. One dish was forgotten, and was brought when the rest was almost finished. Pricing is a bit more upper scale, maybe a bit high for the quality. I'd like to go back a second time, maybe it was just a bad experience...”

“Everything in this place is good, but the service deserves a special star, it's excellent! I had never experienced this kind of service in Germany before where we never had empty glasses while staff being extremely nice, polite and proactive. I even asked if they had special training and they said no so I guess they are treated very nicely and like to work there. Became my favorite bar in Cologne instantly won I and my friends as customers, we'll be back! The food is really good too!!”

“Once we ordered vegetarian/vegan and gave us a tomato sauce with meat in it, we complained, the chef came and said it is like it is, took our plates and walked away, we still had to pay even if we did not eat, such a horrible experience, also the staff is always stressed and unfriendly. I don't know why people still going there, maybe because there is no other options around.”
