“We went for a Saturday breakfast. It was super packed and great atmosphere. It’s also a great cafe to take your pet (particularly dog) with you. They seem to offer meals for pets (milk or cream I think from what I could see). While the meals were nice, they all seem to be a little on the heavier side. Both portion wise but also calories and ingredient wise. So just be aware of that. For example, my meal looks healthier than it might be: lots of hollandaise sauce, deep fried ingredients etc. Coffee is good.”

“The roast pork is really good and the salad in it. Roast pork is favourite dish among all, better than Molt 32 HK. Next is the bread that comes with lobster pate, one of the best I ever had. The signature duck dish is outstanding, love the broccoli and carrot. I am okay with the coffee rub, just not my dish. Service is good and the waitresses are very patience. Ambiance is happy and cheerful. Highly recommended”

“The burgers are not worth the money. Have been here a few times and I have been disappointed with the quality of the burgers. Given that they only have a small selection of burgers to offer, you would think that they would be decent and everything would be fresh. Even though the burger bun is toasted it still tasted old and stale. The meat on the burger was dry and a tad too salty. The salad in the burger was okay but it isn’t hard to cut up lettuce and tomato… The drink selection is lacking aswell. The service isnt there as everything is ordered from the QR codes on the table so it’s hard to interact with staff. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as they are better places around Brisbane that can actually make a good burger.”

“La Calabrese is an excellent, authentic, and downright fun Italian cuisine experience. The team feels like family (I think some are) and speak Italian while deftly delivering pizzas, drinks, and all other spread of Italian fare. We came in on a late reservation on Christmas eve and had a great time. Between the lively conversation, singing, and delicious pizza, we would very much so recommend to anyone visiting gold coast and surfers paradise area.”

“Come here about once a week for a pint and some dinner. The solid selection of Aussie ales and lagers always satisfies. The pub fair- with added flair- always hits the spot; above average. Service is excellent. Pleasant atmosphere. Tables surround the large bar island in the main area- the bar is always right nearby if you want to pop up for a drink or to order something else from the friendly staff. Overall a classic, yet modern Aussie pub experience with a flowing, open area great for groups and families.”

“Amazing Indian food. Incredible spice combinations that make each dish taste so unique and flavourful. Warm welcome from staff including the chef Sanjeev who creates each dish with love. We were recommended to go by Nicki and weren't disappointed. We had the chef's special goat curry (not it has bones) and a chicken tikka masala - both stunning. Fluffy rice and garlic naan were good accompaniements. (And free papadums on arrival.) A steady stream of take away which is always a great sign for a restaurant. And BYO.”

“Got take away pizza and garlic bread, the pizza was really delicious and fast but the garlic bread was not worth $10. Like we got takeaway so not their fault it was cold, but like 3 slices of not very garlicky bread ? Not worth it so next time I would skip the garlic bread. Really great service tho and accurate to the wait time they told us”
