“What an elegant restaurant. Great dinner menu .. see pics. Service tiptop. Our waitress Nina was attentive and expert in the upsell and cleared used items swiftly as well. We were served simultaneously which is nice too. My steak tender and a little more to medium than rare ..neg was the 'steak knife' was blunt. The sweet-potato my wife has was also delicious. Dessert looked and was scrumptious. A definitely repeatable eating event.”

“I am indian vegetarian, I had tomatoes soup, mushroom salad and beet root tikkie burger and warm chocomelk without cream. Every food item was delicious. I specially liked tomato soup which was full of fresh flavors and beet root tikkie burger, tikkie was very tasty with crisp outer layer. I would recommend worth visiting.”

“We went here to celebrate the birthday of one of my friends. He had arranged the 4-course dinner with accompanying wines. Excellent quality and they were flexible enough to serve our vegan friend alternative dishes, and adapt some of my dishes to my shrimp allergies. Our waitress was knowledgeable enough to, after just a look, even give an explanation about the vegan dishes our vegan friend got (Oh, you've got the . . .). All in all a very nice evening at a restaurant that's well worth a visit. PS: since we were guests of the birthday boy, I've got no idea what we spent.”

“We had a multiple course menu here and it was clear that the quality of the ingredients were top notch. Every dish was prepared uniquely and was quite delicious for the most part. The first few dishes were quite underwhelming however as the flavors didn’t quite match well together however it got better and better especially towards the end when we were served wonderful meat dishes. In addition the ambience and decor of the restaurant was really well done and the staff were very present and friendly. Overall a great experience and would recommend again but must note that some dishes may not be for everyone.”

My personal favourite is the De Peelen beef stew pancake, it taste so good like an old school grandma’s recipe! Our child loves the surprise pancake that comes with a toy too!”

I booked it for my friend’s birthday party (she was turning one of those important ages) and as we went to uni in Tilburg and it’s centrally located for a lot of people in the region I went to look for something suitable when I stumbled upon Koppig. So glad I did! The food is simply superb (give me those egg Benedict any time) and service was outstanding. I love that the menu has options for vegetarians too as we had a few of these. The atmosphere is lovely and worked well for the different ages in our group. Overall, a really great place to grab a, high quality, bite in a great atmosphere with outstanding service!”

“If I could give more stars I would! The food was absolutely exquisite and bursting with flavours. We had the escargot and garlic prawns for starters which were both to die for (sorry ducks we didn't even leave a bread crumb for you) and the signature steak and liver for mains which was the best food we had on our trip through central Europe. We were lucky to have a seat right at the canal, the waiter was lovely, the wine and all other drinks delicious, all in all the whole experience couldn't have been more perfect. Such a shame that it was our last night in Utrecht, we would love to come back.”
