“Such a great place to visit on a sunny day for dinner! The gnocchi was amazing- very light - I would definitely recommend it. The fried chicken is also amazing - well flavoured, tender and juicy- a favourite of the table. The service is good but be warned that they operate on a fixed 1.5 hour +15 minutes per person policy.”

“Prices are noticeably more moderate away from central London which has become a dining disaster zone. Service here was good and the food not at all bad but I want to point out one thing - a thing close to my heart (and stomach) in a variety of locations. The menu proudly proclaims that the pizza (illustrated) has 'three times as much' pepperoni as before. Really? What did it look like before? To be clear, it was a nice pizza but with one third of the pepperoni it would have been a mean offering. Why are pizza restaurants so tight with their toppings?”

“Nice relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Quick service. The pizzottella with mortadella and stracciatella was delicious and came straight out of the kitchen. The pasta dishes were generous in portions and tasty. I got the gluten free tagliatelle with vongole and they were really tasty. I also added the bottarga, although it was just a light sprinkle of it. We didn’t get the desserts but they looked good. Need to book if you go on a weekend.”

“I love a zizzi, and have been to many all over the country and can easily say that the service here was the worst 🙁 no smiles, no hello, no chatter. Lady who seated us just said " Table for 2?" Put menus on the table and walked off, ignored for ages and finally approached by a young lad who looked terrified of people. Staff behind the bar just stared at customers waiting at the door which was all just a bit odd. Food and drinks as always was lovely, but Beckenham definitely needs to work on the customer service.”
