“I honestly love this park, it's close enough to the city, yet it's rugged enough to encourage wildlife, and there's some great walks around the banks of the Yarra. There's an abundance of wildlife if you look for it. Eastern Bearded Dragons, snakes, fishing birds, black cockatoos (usually before rain), spiders etc. If you like your flowers there's plenty of those, too. It's come something for everyone. Places to relax, cycling, parks for the kids and walking tracks. The best tracks line the Yarra, but they aren't accessible for everyone, with steep, rocky faces in places. You cam cycle some of the tracks, but there are very steep faces and I've had to pull someone up before on an e-bike. I fell once myself and was lucky I never ended up in the Yarra. It's a fun park, though. There's currently renovations to too areas. It's getting more changes, and it will be more accessible from the Abbotsford side and Richmond side in the future. It's pretty accessible from the in most places, but check the website and stick to the paths. Sensitive wildlife and flowers are all over this park.”

“‘Best wedding ever’ we have been told buy numerous guest. We had an absolute blast having our wedding at beautiful long Reef golf club. The most stunning location for ceremony, photos and reception. We felt like we were in Hawaii or somewhere tropical. We honestly cannot fault this venue, it was absolutely perfect. Long reef offers really good inclusive packages with yummy options for all the food which we loved - we had a tasting a few months out and everything we ate from their kitchen was fab, and a wide range of beers and wines with good package options. The staff including Melanie and Holly made wedding planning a breeze and really did all the hard work for us, we just showed up to a few meetings and added in the fun stuff. And Jo coordinated everything so well on the day and night not a foot was out of line. She even reminded me to stop taking and go and eat which is always good! 10/10 would recommend to anyone for a beach side fun family friendly wedding or event. I want to do it all over again!”

“Gotta say, I love this place's environment and its decoration. It just made my heart warm for some reasons. The place was clean. Bathroom is spacious and hygenic. Staffs are very friendly. There are two sections: the bar and a proper dine-in resraurant. The best part was the food. Omg!! I love my meal ( cant remember the name) , I highly recommend this dish ( in the picture). Honestly, I am very stingy with compliments toward food when we dine- out; espectually, if there menu is considered $$$. The pasta, hands up, was delicious. However, I was disappointed with their cream brelee because the caramilised sugar on top was as thin as a piece of paper. The dish came with bitscotti , which was thick and, with respect, was some unenjoyable biscuit that should never have been called bitscotti. Anyhow, we were all happy :)”

“We participated in a celebratory lunch of an international body - it was their centenary. The site has excellent parking and easy access to the facility. The dining room was warm and comfortable, it was well lit and it had good acoustics. The wine list is substantial and choices were readily available. The set menu gave choices for each course with a huge slice of a Centenary Cake being the dessert. Service was discrete and attentive. The speeches were well amplified for those of us hard of hearing and everyone seemed involved. Sadly we aren't likely to attend the next centenary lunch.”

“Great 18 hole grass greens course. Greens and fairways perfect condition. Most holes offer an inspiring view. Almost feels like a links course. Obviously must be a big focus on divot and pitch marks repairs, because this is the most repaired course I've ever played. Clubhouse offers good food and drinks/coffee. Proshop well stocked. Friendly helpful staff. The only thing the coarse needs is trees along the highway holes.”

Everyone I've met at the club are really welcoming and super friendly. The course is superb. The club offered us a special membership for 3 months. Included in that, they arrange to have volunteer mentors to go round with us. These wonderful women tirelessly give their time and energy.
