“Want to work on your short game and don’t want to spend it on a range this is a good option. £16 for the 18 par 3 cse. It’s a little rough around the edges but the greens run daily true and nice views and tree lined. The members and staff are super friendly. The signage needs taking down and new putting in. Wet in areas but to be excepted give the recent weather. I will try and play the proper 9 hole next”

“First time playing here and despite the garbage weather we've been having the course was in pretty decent condition. Price could have been a bit better since two holes were closed and playing on temporary greens but overall a great place. Can't wait to play again when it's dry out.”

“What a wonderful, friendly and great golf club. I have played this James Braid golf course twice now, and what a fantastic test of golf, in outstanding condition. In my opinion there isn’t a bad hole, every hole has its unique quality. This is a five star golf course on and off with a fantastic club professional at the helm; Andrew Corey and his team along with Rob the general manager and his superb team. A must visit.”

“We held our wedding breakfast and evening party here on the 19th August. After we were initially a little stressed due to management changes close to the date - Ben contacted and met up with me. He put my mind at ease immediately and ensured everything would be what we asked for... When we arrived at the venue we were greeted with drinks. We had our own decorators in BUT the room as stunning. The wedding breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD (we had tomato soup starter, beef dinner and chocolate cake pudding). The Staff all day and night were simply fantastic. They were all polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend the golf club for any party as you are well looked after.”

“Nice club house, clean & modern overlooking the golf course. Pleasant friendly staff. I went with friends to see a Play upstairs "Ladies Day" by Phoenix Theatre which was very entertaining. The room is small so it got hot quickly but thankfully someone opened a window at the interval. A small intimate room for watching a play.”
