“Very nice course, in a great condition. Very scenic, loads of sea views. The golfing part is also very good with interesting challenges, elevation changes, sloping fairways, blind tee shots. The rough can be very penal and after the sending cut you'll simply struggle to even find your ball. But what a fun place to play!”

“Second time here. Very nice course. The greens were really well taken care of, all quite alike in speed. The clubhouse is not the nicest, but the service makes up for it. The green fee is reasonable, not the inflated one we tend to come across quite often now. Recommended!”

“Very beautiful and well-kept complex with old pine trees. The greens and the rest of the complex were in top condition. However, the white tees were just renewed, so I played the course from yellow. Very good price for what you get! Come back gladly. Btw: dogs are allowed;)”

“Played it twice, so we played all 27 holes. They are all good but the Volcan (Red) course is by far and away the best 9 holes, up there with any course I have played. This is the 9 you want to play again and again. Must give the greens staff a big thumbs up the courses and greens are excellent.”

“A very welcoming venue. I only went to hit some balls on the range and practice some chipping and putting. Despite my very broken French, all of the staff I met were very helpful and made me feel at home. The range was excellent and worked perfectly with the Trackman App. I paid in the shop and got a printed QR code which could then be scanned to get the bucket of balls. The covered bays were very also welcome in the heat. The chipping area was small but was versatile enough to offer a good challenge from a variety of positions.”

“A very pleasant golf experience at Golf de la Bresse. Played with a couple of friendly members and the course was in good condition considering the hot temperatures and sprinkler bans. Tee boxes were great and greens nice an quick. Signs of the financial investment to the infrastructure and course very welcome to see. Practice facilities are good here and the staff friendly and speak English. As with many French courses the terrace was busy and the restaurant offers great local options. Must play in the Lyon region in my opinion.”

“Great course. I loved the back nine which reminded of a links course type with wide fairways and long distances.All the trees by the side of the narrow fairways of the front nine provided shade I needed that day (38 degrees at 18h00). All the greens throughout the 18 holes are well guarded by bunkers. I loved the little vineyard at the side of the 17th tee (I think). All the greens and all the tees were in great conditions in spite of "la canicule" scorching temperatures (40 degrees). Well done for the greenkeepers. This course is worth playing before leaving Dijon and it is situated very close to the D974.”

“Very interesting and somewhat challenging course. It's links-y, but there's a lot of water hazards and quite a few trees and bushes. The fairways are very soft and there won't be roll like on a standard links greens are not so soft and often full of slopes. Overall it's not very long but will ask for a wide variety of shots and often demand precision.”

“What a course! It was a privilege to have the opportunity to play this beautiful course. First of all, the people were warm and welcoming. The course was like walking on carpet on the fairways and greens! Be careful of the bunkers, some are very deep! Also the tall grass in the rough is extremely difficult to deal with! One of the best courses I have ever played!”

“Golf & Landscape: Definitely a shorty course (5,2 km from the white tees!), but in good shape despite hot & dry weather. Stunning views on the Golfe de St. Tropez. Staff friendly and supportive (had to rent clubs and trolley, all went well). Minus: No Driving Range. Service: Easy booking over the phone (English is spoken). Nice and friendly little pro shop. No food (excl. dessert) at the bar/restaurant at 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon appears a bit peculiar… Coming back rating: 7/10.”
