“We walked the beach boardwalk to watch the sunset. We couldn't go down to the sand as much of the stairs had been damaged prsumably in last years winter storms. The beaches are rocky but magnificent. The sunset did not disappoint. Lots of trash and recycling bins throughout which keeps the area spotless.”

“O.M.G.... is all I can say! No matter the time of the year you decide to visit I'm sure your breath will be taken away! Free access to it all, parking, beach entrance. There is a park with swings and a volleyball net for the children as well as paddle boat rentals. A definite must-see even if your visiting alone.”

“We had our wedding at Los Robles Greens on 9.16.23 and it was a magical day!! We worked with McKenna and she is AMAZING!!!! Her and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure our day was special, ran smooth and we had everything we wanted during our planning process. The Gardens is the perfect outdoor romantic spot for a wedding. The long aisle is perfect for any bride looking to make a dramatic entrance! The venue reception area has brand new bistro lights that made the night even more special to dance under. We had about 100 people and the venue felt perfect with plenty of room for our guests to mingle on and off the dance floor. Shannon, the lead bartender went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect signature drink and even made a custom sample for us to try 2 weeks before our big day. We could not recommend The Gardens at Los Robles enough for your wedding. Thanks you to everyone for making all our dreams come true!!!! Best team hands down!”

“What a beautiful course. Absolutely great for me (a novice, at best!). My reasoning for the 3 stars is for the bar service; and lack of beverage cart out on the course! Came for New Year’s Day and the bar was slammed with non-golfers. Took 25 min just to get hot dogs and beers before back nine. Our cart battery died on 18 too; it happens. Again, loved the course though…”

“An impressive golf course in my city that is worthy of a site for a PGA tournament. The setting is fantastic with a great view of Lake Merced all around. The practice fields are always filled with golfers perfecting their swing on any given weekend even one that steady rain has just fallen. There is lots of free parking too. The Cypress Grill overlooking the 18th tee is a good food option following a round of golf.”

“First time golfing here, wasn’t as hot as I thought it was going to be. Our tee time was at 7am and finished right under 4hrs and 15 mi s for a 4 some. I would go back again. The staff was great and the greens and fairways were very green as well. Recommend it.”

“Bartley Cavanaugh is a hidden gem to me. You would not realize that this course is as expansive as it is nestled between Southbound I-5 and the Sacramento River. There were many wet areas with casual water along the course. This was mainly due to the amount of water needed to keep the course green. The fairways were mostly narrow bordered by rolling hills. If your tee shot strayed, you were penalized with an uneven lay or trees in your line. The greens were quick but fair. It's really easy to roll a putt by leaving a lengthy comebacker. The clubhouse staff was warm and welcoming. Due to lack of space, there is not a driving range. There are only 2 lanes to hit into a net. You have to bring your own balls to hit there as well, unless someone left some undesirables behind. The putting green was considerably slower than the actual played greens. We did stay for lunch after our round. The quality of the food and beverage was as expected in quality. The portion sizes were a bit on the small side for the price. The service was lacking in speed and attention. Our group was on the larger side, broken into three separate checks. The orders that were taken first and last were served first while the second group's food did not come out until close to end of everyone else's meals. Expectations based on advertising and pricing were sadly not met. I will play the course again, but may make another choice when choosing to eat in the restaurant after.”

“I’d give it more stars but when we went, holes 11-16 were closed and the staff didn’t warn us about it. There weren’t any signs either until you got to hole 11. So people were paying the full price and then finding they were only getting 2/3 of the course. Holes 11-16 were not under maintenance, just closed off.”

“Great place to play golf. You can also take lessons.The fairways are in good shape. Greens are in fantastic shape. Some sand traps have been replaced with new sand. I don't think it is natural sand. Clubhouse is finished and kitchen is still under construction. Exciting changes are now developing. Great staffing and management team. P.s.Try the par 3, 9 holes course "Chica", which is right next to Vista Valencia GC.”
