“The Highlands is one of my favorite golf courses in the Chicagoland area. I wish I lived closer. We played it on a Sunday afternoon the cost for cart and golf was reasonable. The course was in excellent shape considering it had rained so much in the previous week. Even the traps were well maintained. I love the risk reward opportunities on this course. The designers are to be commended. If they got rid of the mats on the driving range it would be a five-star course.”

“First time here, and the facility is good. I like the fact that I don’t have to put the ball on the tee here, it’s automated. You pay per ball. I believe it’s about $.14 per ball on most days, but on Mondays, it’s $.09 and Thursdays it’s $.11 per ball. Not a bad deal!”

“Attended as part of a private event. Excellent staff. Very clean and fancy bathroom. Nice area of the room they set aside for dancing. Better acoustics then one would expect. Likely not affiliated with the club but there was an incredible magician as part of the entertainment. Card tricks and others performed directly by, and involving, part goers. This included the person I was the +1 for; pretty sure they weren't on on it. Said he was best known in Chicago for borrowing one of the attendees and then spinning in the air, transferring to his other hand for almost a minute and then hanging it back.”

“Would rate it 5-stars, but the ranger was awful (reviews were on point in this regard). We were playing an outing with four foursomes. We teed off first. There was a two hole gap between a twosome when we teed off. On the sixth hole, the ranger came up and told us to keep pace because the group behind us was close. It was a best ball scramble. He got rude when I told him we were at an hour twenty through five holes. Pace is 2:05 for 9 holes! Then, he tried to tell us we need to catch up to the twosome and pick up our pace. Have your ranger get a radio and communicate with your starter! It was ridiculous. I can understand why people might stay away. As an experienced golfer and a current employee at another local course, this was terrible service.”

“Found this place a few days ago. I had to come back and give it a try. A very small par 3 9 hole course. Don't look to take out your woods, irons will do and very few at that. 200 yards is the furthest you'll get to hit. For what it lacks in distance it makes up in charm. Walked on as a single and a nice Sunday afternoon. I had no one in front of me and no one behind me. Very fun place to get practice on your short game. Great staff, everyone willing to guild and help when needed. The price is great and cheaper the second round. Thanks for a great time.”
