Supreme Court Of The United States

“Impressive! Exploring the public areas of the Supreme Court is an awe-inspiring experience, with its expansive marble hallways that exude grandeur. Inside, you'll find numerous captivating displays and exhibitions, as well as an informative film about the court. There's also a dedicated section honoring the first female Chief Justice. For a deeper understanding of the American legal system, you have the option to book a half-hour talk inside the actual courtroom (please note that photography isn't allowed). This experience was incredibly interesting and greatly contributed to our comprehension of the legal system in the United States. During my vacation, visited most of the favorite landmarks and buildings in DC, and the Supreme Court pleasantly surprised me. It's a place where politics takes a back seat, and you can truly sense the profound weight of justice being administered. Given that not everyone is familiar with the Court's history, the informative yet understated displays provide valuable insights.”

“The FBI Experience Center is a great tour that explains the different jobs within the FBI and what they are responsible for. It also covers some of the top FBI cases and has evidence from the cases on display such as letters from the Unabomber and the boat from the Boston bombing. Definitely worth a trip if you have the opportunity to go!”

Consular Section Of The Embassy Of Mexico

1250 23rd St NW #002, Washington, DC 20037, United States

“We had a good experience in this Consulate. Our appointments it was on a Thursday between 11:00 am to 12:00 . The people there were very nice and the only negative thing it was not fast, it takes some time for I had my Mexican visa and it wasn’t crowded at all, but besides that everything was good! No complaints!”

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority

300 7th St SW, Washington, DC 20024, United States

“I was trying to take the train home from Tyson's at around 8:30pm today. The train went 1 stop to McLean and then it went out of service. We all got off the train and waited about 10 minutes for the next train. When the next train arrived, it went out of service as well, and an employee said on the intercom that no trains would be heading towards Falls Church or Ballston. There was no warning or announcement prior to let people know that these trains would be out of service. There was a shuttle to replace the trains, but the shuttle was completely full. I had to scramble to catch a different bus and it took over an hour for me to get home. The commute was much longer than I anticipated. WMATA is so annoying. They really need to work on improving the service. The trains and buses are very unreliable. Also, the machines will steal your money sometimes, and there's no way to get your money back. It can get very pricey (the machines stealing your money and some stops cost $5-$6 both ways). Some of the employees are rude and unprofessional. Some of the bus drivers will drive off before you even get to your seat, which can cause you to fall forward and injure yourself (I have fell and hurt myself due to the bus driver pulling off before reaching a seat multiple times). Some of the bus drivers will see you standing & waiting at the bus stop and drive right past you. Some of the employees have nasty attitudes. A lot of the trains and buses are dirty and smell like sewage. I think public transportation should be free, it's not worth paying for.”

“Great service! I was doing a new passport here. It took literarly 15 min to send all the docs. Everyone is polite and efficient. Special thanks to Oleksii Domanchuk. He answered all my questions online and during document processing was very quick and professional.”

Embassy Of Russian Federation

2650 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007, United States

“The only nice thing I have to say about this place is it is gratifying to try to humiliate the diplomats there, even though they have no shame. Having their ambassador in country is also worthwhile even though ol' Anatoly is utterly contemptible (the stuff he could be overhead saying at a lunch at Cafe Milano in 2022 proves it). There are sometimes nice events across the street featuring flowers or light shows, though--I highly recommend any of these.”
