“The food came out super fast like within 7 min of ordering it. The food was plentiful and tasty (just a little salty but I like low salt food in general so for others it might be just fine). The rice was a little mushy and I like less mush but some like it mushy but it was good. For $15 plus tax ($17 ish) you get a platter of chicken and gyro meat plus salad with excellent vinaigrette sauce w very fresh salad and a choice of rice or French fries. Parking on the street w meters. Quick bite and dine in no waiter service so in and out easy. Great staff!”

“Great fast food restaurant for spicy chicken wraps and bowls made fresh. I ordered crispy chicken wrap and my friend got the peri peri bowl. Both items were made fresh on the spot which I appreciate because I have to other cafes where the chicken is premade and kept under a warmer. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Nice portions! I normally don’t like chicken breast but I really enjoyed the tenderness of the chicken here. They marinated it well. Place was very clean and typical of a fast food place. It’s a great place for quick bite or pickup.”

“We had a lovely dinner at Central Gyros this evening. Normally we get gyros or ribs to go (always delicious) but today we tried something different. We had a gyros wrap, gyros salad, hummus, Greek potatoes and DESSERT! Everything was perfect! Our waitress was the sweetest and very attentive!!!”

“Came here during a quick lunch hour. Food was amazing and service was great. Nice place that has a lot of food items. Hamburgers, sandwiches and dinners. I opted for the chicken sliced on pita. I was delicious. Very juicy and tastefully seasoned. The pita really makes for a better sandwich :) Place has plenty of seating with a relaxed atmosphere. The dining room was in order and clean. Staff was friendly. I will come back and try the beef next time :)”

“The staff was extremely nice here. The atmosphere was also great. I got the beef and lamb pita, and although it tasted absolutely delicious, it was pretty messy. There was also a lot of meat, and the sauces where delicious. The Mediterranean sauce was spicy and had a hint of cilantro. It was absolutely great. I would definitely recommend.”

“Food was good, but a bit expensive. I got the mushroom sandwich which was tasty, but I left hungry. My friend got the shrimp salad. We shared feta fries. Fries were quite bland. Kind of weird they ask for a tip when they only bring the food and you’re responsible for filling your drink and getting your food.”

“We come regularly to highland park to visit family but only recently discovered this place. A huge hit with my big hard to please family. Everyone found something they loved. I personally went for the kale Caesar - first as a wrap with salmon and then as a salad with shrimp when we went back the very next day 😂. Good to know there is a quick, yummy solution when we need to feed our crowd.”

“This is a no frills restaurant. No cotton table cloth, no fancy decorations or lighting. You walk to the counter order from the menu, grab a drink from the cooler, pay, and pick a table. Service is great! Staff was helpful. Then the magic happens. My food was presented at the table, and condiments brought. Now, the real reason I picked this restaurant. The food looked amazing, smelled so good, and tasted truly great. I got exactly what I came for, a really good meal! Never have I been disappointed. Come and see for yourself.”

“I spontaneously dropped by after hearing so many great things about this restaurant. It was a quiet, relaxed Sunday and we were greeted by warm and attentive staff; super beautiful restaurant and I regret not taking any pictures of it. But in my defense I was distracted by the Loukoumades I ordered. I had the real deal in Greece and these were superb. They even came with honey (traditional), Nutella, and a few other sauces. The entire experience reminded me of my time there and needless to say I’ll return. Apparently it’s the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights in the West Loop so let’s see if it lives up to the hype.”

“Friendly and fast. Counters, tables and benches were clean. I like the curved bench seats. Comfortable without a cushion. Food was tasty and hot. My Chicago dogs had fresh veggies and the fries were crunchy, tasted fresh and cooked in clean oil. I'll stop in again.”

“Nice seating on covered patio. Attentive service. Excellent lemon drop martini perfectly prepared. Delicious lemon chicken rice soup. Comes with meal. Entrees come with 2 delicious sides. Salmon was a big piece and very moist. Branzino was filleted and also a huge moist piece. Green beans, peas and pasta were delicious. Dessert. Chocolate mousse was rich and absolutely wonderful.”
