Food was amazing! I had the fennel sausage pizza which was delicious and my partner had the seafood pasta in Napoli sauce - again delicious but a touch on the spicy side. “The two pretty ladies who run this joint are polite, friendly and helpful. We booked online for a Sunday evening, and when we arrived our table was waiting for us, positioned near the screen that had been set up for the Trivia Night. As it was a Sunday night, the menu was quite limited with the main option being the roast beef, plus a few burgers and fish dishes. We chose calamari and roast beef. The roast beef came with a huge and fluffy Yorkshire pud and a nice selection of fresh vegetables but the meat was too undercooked for my liking. The calamari was also a tad too soft, I prefer mine a bit more chewy. The seating plan is entirely outdoors but undercover, with no indoor options. This setup is perfect for spring or summer dining, allowing guests to watch the bustling activity along Little Stanley Street. However, it may not be as suitable in winter. On the night we visited, the Trivia Night drew a good crowd, creating a lively and fun atmosphere. The venue's location in the heart of the South Bank dining precinct also added to the vibrant ambience. The wooden tables are sturdy and easily able to fit drinks and meals, while the upholstered leather chairs are quite comfortable. The venue's toilets are located behind the establishment, accessible through a glass door. There are separate, clean, and well-maintained male and female facilities. We didn’t drive this time, so I couldn't comment on the parking situation, but from the South Bank ferry terminal it's an easy 15 minute level walk through the South Bank parklands and restaurant precinct. Overall, for those who enjoy trivia or comedy with their meal, this could be a good option.”

Staff were friendly and helpful, more so the older staff members, but most younger people don't interact with people as well, it comes with experience and comfort in their position. My main meal and coffee were wonderful, dessert was a little less impressive, need more flavour or something. While nice it didn't reach the level of the main meal. Some places are just not as good for desserts. I had the Chickpea Curry and was thrilled with the flavour combinations. I ordered the Buttermilk Pana Cotta with blood orange granita for dessert. Will definitely return.”

“I'll leave the original review I wrote below to show how good this place can be. But we came here tonight on a Tuesday and the food was just extremely average. The tofu entre was very sour compared to last time. The pork kailan was a weird experience. The outside was tender and tasty, but the middle of the pork was dry, tough and very cold. leads me to believe it is not made fresh. The consistency is clearly off so I guess it's probably best to come not on a weekday. Maybe don't bother Monday to Thursday as it's quite clear they are rushing to get out. It's not a cheap place so I would expect a lot better. One of the staff were mopping our table around our feet at 8pm. Just not a great experience at all, especially mop water at your feet trying to eat dry pork. In their defence they gave us 10% off and offered to recook the pork but we just wanted to get out of there. The food here blew my mind, the kailan crispy pork was just on another level. The flavours are all there and the pork is just cooked to perfection. I've had it twice to make sure. The coconut rice is the show stealer, it's sweet and sticky but compliments every dish so well. The kailan mixed in with the rice is one hell of a flavour explosion. I would almost go as far as to say it's the best Thai I've ever had. I had to invite a few friends to try it out, and they said the same. The best since Thailand. The staff are also very friendly and so efficient. It's quite busy most of the time and it's clear why. I would definitely recommend booking a table before going. Don't miss this one and definitely eat in over take out, eat this as fresh as they cook it and you won't be disappointed. An amazing restaurant with amazing food. Don't miss the coconut rice, it's the best around.”
